READ THIS BEFORE BUYING! Summary: 1. Terrnace Davis forced me to give him a 5-star review before allowing me to leave the NWMS lot with my new-to-me 2018 Toyota 4Runner. 2. I Summary: 1. Terrnace Davis forced me to give him a 5-star review before allowing me to leave the NWMS lot with my new-to-me 2018 Toyota 4Runner. 2. I was sent to collections for unpaid tickets on the 2004 Jeep I traded-in because NWMS didn’t transfer the title in a timely manner and the new buyer had some fun parking illegally around Seattle a couple months later. 3. Terrance couldn’t find the keyless entry fob for my 2018 4Runner until a couple weeks after I purchased the vehicle but still hasn’t mailed it to me (3 months and 7 phone calls later). More detail: 1. after purchasing a vehicle from NWMS, i wasn’t allowed to leave until i clicked on a link terrance sent me and gave him 5 stars. he told me to do it a couple hours earlier, when we started the purchase but i didnt want to bc his responsiveness during the week or two i was looking at this vehicle was terrible and he was not particularly friendly (obviously i wanted the vehicle though). i didnt realize until i was about to drive off that he literally was not going to hand me the keys until he saw on my phone that he received 5 stars (i understand now why they want that review on the spot - NWMS is done with the customer immediately after the purchase). 2. about two months after completing my transaction with NWMS, i was sent to collections by the city of seattle for unpaid parking citations acquired by the new owner of the jeep liberty that i traded into NWMS. this is because NWMS didn’t transfer the title at the time of sale/trade-in...it is 100% on them. i called NWMS and asked them to fax a copy of the proof of sale to seattle municiple court to get me out of collections. NWMS told me to do it myself because i had the same paperwork that they had. well first of all, rude, second of all, this is the fault of NWMS, and third of all, i don’t have a fax machine because it’s 2019. 3. terrance couldn’t find the keyless entry fob for my vehicle at the time of sale; he only had a regular standard key. ok, no big deal. but then he emailed me on june 7 at 5:16pm - good news! he found the keyless fob. i asked him to mail it to me because i live in tumwater and have zero reasons to go back to puyallup (at least until the state fair). i have called multiple times since early june and i keep being told that NWMS will mail the key that is sitting in the manager’s desk. still don’t have it. i’m submitting this as 0-1 stars on every website i can find to offset the 5 stars i was forced to give NWMS in early june 2019. More
