Typical salespeople This is a typical car sales lot, they are in it for the money. They will try to sell you what you don’t need, up sell you an extended warranty package This is a typical car sales lot, they are in it for the money. They will try to sell you what you don’t need, up sell you an extended warranty package, an immobilizer, etc. I was told right away that my car had no warranty (not true, all VW TDI that have had the emissions fix have a factory 48 mos/48k mile extension from the date they had the fix). I came with my own financing, yet had to fill out an application for them anyway (but they couldn’t get me a better rate than USAA). A couple of hours after the test drive we were finally signing the paperwork to take the car home, that’s where they tried to sell the “extended warranty”. After everything, we were finally able to leave with the car. The next day, I started looking over the paperwork and noticed a “replacement key” charge of nearly $500, Being told that this “key protect” feature was something we wouldn’t pay for, I was confused. I’ve reached out to both salesmen for clarification, no response. Based on my overall experience after the sale, I would not buy from these people again, and anyone thinking of it should be prepared for the typical ride a sleazy car dealer will try to take you on to get the most of your money. Also, be ready to be hit with the stench of multiple peoples over use of cologne.. More
