My wife and I looked at Honda, Chevy, Ford, Volkswagon and Kia's & Hyundai. I must say most all of the new cars are pretty nice. Many times it is the sales force that makes the difference. I'm a Purchasing Manager so dealing with salesmen is a daily occurrence. And beleive me it's not always pleasent. Within just a few minutes of speaking with Rod we were truly impressed with his vehicle knowledge, true professionalism and what I think is a real love for his job. He incuded backgound history on the car line, a very detailed description of the warranty and the various options of each of the vehicals we looked at. He shows a true confidance in what he is selling. The warranty package and the extended warranty options are the best we found. We drive an "average" of close 100-miles a day. We have owned the car for only 1 week today and have already driven over 800 miles. I have since the purchase of the car provided Rod's business cards to others who trust my word with hopes if they do decide to look at Hyundai they will make the effort to ask for Rod Brown. Without question it was a very good experience! More

I was in the market for a new car and had a very tight budget to work with. I had test driven the Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla and lastly the Hyundai Elantra. I contacted a previous dealership before Northtowne Hyundai to get a quote and the guy there was pushy and unprofessional. I had heard from many people that if you want a professional, friendly and reliable dealership to go to Northtowne. I live in Kansas about 45 minutes away from the dealership and made a special trip just to see what kind of service and prices I could get. I had been e-mailing with Torry Meade and was so pleasantly surprised how laid back and honest he was about the car and what I could get for my money. This is my first time buying a new car and am young so was unexperienced in the ways of negotiating a sale and all the terms/conditions that go along with buying new. He sat down with me and answered all of my questions and made sure I was extremely comfortable with the purchase. I had never considered leasing before, I have always bought used cars in the past, and was surprised to learn that I could most definitely afford to lease the car with the option to buy. He broke down not only how much my lease would be, but included taxes and what the car would cost to buy if I decide to keep it after three years. He made me so comfortable knowing how much I would be spending monthly. I now have an amazing new car that if Torry hadn't mentioned the leasing option would not have been able to afford. It was worth it to drive the extra miles to receive that kind of service. I will be recommending Torry to any of my friends that are looking to buy a new car. Torry is a true salesman but with that rare combination of ease and friendliness that makes buying a car not so frustrating. I look forward to going back in 3 years to trade in or buy my car. More
Hands down, this is the best car dealer we have ever dealt with! We have never repurchased the same make & model of vehicle--until now. We had such a great experience with our 2006 Sonata, both the car and the dealer, that we bought a new 2011 Sonata from the same place. In fact, we knew we wanted the new Sonata and my wife (who takes our cars in for all their maintenance and loves going to Northtowne) didn't want to even look at any other dealer than Northtowne Hyundai, even if they could beat the price. But of course, no one could beat Northtowne's price. Price and service (both sales & maintenance) just can't be beat by any other dealer. And Hyundais can't be beat for quality and value (number of options for the price). Torry was exceptionally great to work with: no pressure, great low price, got us the best deal possible. A co-worker of mine, who lives on the southside, ended up at Northtowne Hyundai working with Torry because he offered the best deal in town. He commented to me how great Torry was to work with, and can't believe how much more he got for his money with a Hyundai Sonata v. Honda Accord (his usual purchase). I only wish I had known he was looking so I could have personally referred him to Torry! Ironicly, though, he found the best of the best on his own: Torry Meade at Northtowne Hyundai! P.S. My 2006 Sonata is still going strong and did not need replacing, but our daughter needed a reliable car. She is thrilled to have Dad's Sonata and it meant I got a brand new one. Sharp car and fun to drive! More
Rod has sold me three Hyundai vehicles in the last 4 years. I traded my 2008 Sante Fe in on a 2011 Veracruz. I also have a 2011 Sonata and Elantra. So far I love the Hyundai lineup. What I like about working with Rod is that I don't get the "What will it take to earn your business today" speech. I am also in sales and like the process of test driving and comparing costs etc. With zero percent financing and owner loyalty Hyundai makes it east. Personally I have owned 5 total Hyundai vehicles over the last 5 years so I am waiting for Hyundai to send me a free T-shirt or coffee mug. More

I have worked with Joe for many years now. I currently have two cars bought from Joe in my driveway now. I keep going back because of there massive inventory and the fact the Joe will jump through hoops to keep me happy. He is the only sales person I have worked with that I don't feel like I got taken advantage of when I leave. Hard to say that in the car sales market. I would have checked Sales new and Used but since I have bought more used than new from Northtowne I chose Used. More

Assured of the quality of the dealership during these interactions, I test drove the car and bought it on the spot. In the first six months, I have driven 22,000 miles and returned to the dealership for scheduled maintenance 5 times. Each experience has been top notch. More
