When negotiating the upfront costs, Jose blatantly lied to me over the phone to get me into the dealership. When I was called in to sign my lease contract, that $1K somehow turned into $1,400, which Jose claimed was a simple “misunderstanding”. He then tried to claim he was doing me a favor by allowing me to amortize the difference In price throughout the life of the lease. In addition, when my license plates arrived, I never received a call to inform me that they came in. I was told that Jose must’ve accidentally missed the email. Jose had been completely unprofessional throughout my entire experience at Kia Northstar and would not recommend him to anyone. I would add that the owner of the dealership recognized the shortcomings of his employee and provided me with 2 years worth of car services. This was very kind of him and restored my faith in the dealership. More
