Overpriced service for an issue that should have been covered under warranty. Not even offered an option for used or generic parts. Will never be seeking service from this establishment ever again. More

North Penn Mazda responded

BENJMORROW, I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your recent experience in our service department. The safety warranty on your vehicle expired at 60,000 miles or 5/29/2021 whichever would have come first. When your vehicle came to us the seatbelt retractor was physically broken which would not have been a warrantable repair during the warranty period as it wasn't a manufacture defect. There is no option for an aftermarket part to replace what was broken in the vehicle nor would we recommend replacing it with a used part. Had it been anything other than a safety belt, we would have found other options if available for you. I did call to speak with you yesterday and I spoke to your wife. I thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and even though they did not shine a positive light, we appreciate the feedback so we can improve in the areas we are lacking.
