Extremely dissatisfied with my last service. I scheduled an oil change and a front left headlight replacement one week in advance and requested a loaner vehicle. I dropped off my vehicle on Thur I scheduled an oil change and a front left headlight replacement one week in advance and requested a loaner vehicle. I dropped off my vehicle on Thursday evening 5/9. I received an email confirming the service for 6:30 am on Friday 5/10. When I left work at 4 pm I called Mazda because I hadn’t received a call saying the vehicle was ready. Wil Jones told me the vehicle was ready but they were still finishing up the paperwork and the car would be ready at 5. I arrived at the dealer at 4:50 and Dominic told me that he was finishing up the paperwork and he would be finished in 15 minutes. I told him I would be in the waiting area. A few minutes later the phone rang and he proceeded to have a lengthy telephone conversation with another customer. At 5:15 he was still on the phone and I went up to the service counter and spoke to Wil Jones and explained to him that I was still waiting for the paperwork so I could leave as I had made plans for the evening and I needed my vehicle back. He said Dominic was still working on the paperwork! After expressing my dissatisfaction and frustration Wil brought my car up to the bay hoping to appease me but I still had to wait for Dominic anyway. When I paid for the service I realized the paperwork said the car was promised by 5pm. When I scheduled the appointment I wish I had been told or been given a window of time when the car would be ready for pickup. Since the appointment time was listed as 6:30am I assumed the car would be finished earlier in the day considering it was only an oil change and a headlight replacement. More
