Good Morning Mr. Weightman, I apologize that you feel we are taking advantage of the state inspection as a result of your last appointment. After reviewing the repair order with both Wil and the technician, the decision that was made to fail the tire was valid. There was damage to the sidewall of the tire as a result of a puncture of some sort. The inspection manual is very clear on the damage to the sidewall of a tire failing the annual PA state inspection. As for the charges you incurred, our policy is that once the vehicle leaves the premises after a failed inspection, the inspection charge would need to be repaid as the inspection needs to be performed a second time. The reason for this is because if something happens after the car leaves the premises causing a component of the vehicle to be put into an unsafe condition and we don't recheck it that could be catastrophic for our customer. Each of our customers is a valued part of our operation and they should be treated as such. I travel out of my way to go to your dealership when Sussman is right around the corner. Other places allow you to come back showing the issue has been fixed. You chose to not wave this cost and as a result loose a customer. I have been coming there fo 20 years & have purchase at least 4 vehicles for myself plus one for a family member.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we are truly sorry we were unable to pass the vehicle for inspection due to the damage to the sidewall of the tire. Despite our dealership’s commitment to accommodate customer needs and request as much as possible, we were not able to without having a new or safe tire on the vehicle.
