WARNING TO CONSUMERS (PARTICULARLY OF USED VEHICLES): This pertains to the purchase of Kia vehicles - in my case a 2012 Kia Sportage. There is a class action lawsuit that has been settled a VEHICLES): This pertains to the purchase of Kia vehicles - in my case a 2012 Kia Sportage. There is a class action lawsuit that has been settled against Kia engines due to a problem within their KSDS (“Knock Sensor Detection Software”). 95 days after the purchase of my Kia from North Park VW I was told my engine was done - had the “Product Improvement” known as PI2103 been done on the engine I would have been eligible for a new engine. This information was not available through any car history reports. I was never informed of this “product improvement.” Having purchased the vehicle from what I understood to be a reputable dealership I did not expect to have the hefty bill of $10,000 delivered to me just 95 days after purchase. As a Community College nursing student this is the cost of my entire education. While I realize neither North Park VW or Kia have a legal obligation to help me due to the settlement of this lawsuit, I feel it is important to inform future consumers that they are at risk of similar situations - particularly with the purchase of a used vehicle. I also believe this to be VITAL education for car salespeople. I have been in contact with multiple Northpark VW team members. I was not requesting a full refund, simply ANY help, such as partial assistance with new engine cost or installation or trade in value. While one team member showed some sympathy, it feels apparent they were simply placating me as I have been in touch for months with no resolution. Further education for used vehicle purchasers would be to IMMEDIATELY register your vehicle with the maker. This is something my salesperson failed to advise and could have saved me thousands. I have attempted to leave this review without too much emotion but I would like anyone from the North Park team who reads this to know this has been devastating to my life, I have since decided to pause my education and had to put off what should have been exciting life moments. I hope this serves as a reminder to people in sales that your paycheck comes at the costs of others when you live by deceitful rules. More
Worst Experience ever, no doubt buying a car is horrible, "First they make you"buy items the you don't need... like nitrogen for tires, etching and a pinstripe 🧐🧐400 dlls. Then you agree to the number and when you get there to do the deal after waiting 3 weeks for the vehicle from the original date of arrival.... they hit you with 4000 dlls less on the trade in. Is ridiculous what they do. They excuse is " maket change" but whe had a deal and buyer's orde and my vehicle was in excellent condition.... just to make more money. Thank you Jerry Macias More

After the original Atlas we had reserved faced delivery delays, she was able to find one that we liked even mo thanks to our saleswoman, Riki Butler. Even though it was over $3,000 more than the original Atlas we were looking at due to additional features and a different engine, she worked to get us a great price and we drove it home that night. Bought my 2017 Passat 1. 8 TSI new. Service under warranty was good. two weeks ago at about 70K miles suddenly the CEL came on and the code showed P0740 Torque Converter Clut 8 TSI new. Service under warranty was good. two weeks ago at about 70K miles suddenly the CEL came on and the code showed P0740 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit. Nothing I could have caused through my driving et al. Went to see dealer who just shrugged and quoted at least $2,500 in repair. Nice, isn't it? After 70K miles I would expect more either from the dealer or from VW of America. More
Horrible experience! !! My family was on cloud nine after having my husband return from a ten month deployment in the Middle East and buying a new car, life couldn’t get !! My family was on cloud nine after having my husband return from a ten month deployment in the Middle East and buying a new car, life couldn’t get any better!Unfortunately our happy time turned into nothing but a headache and disappointment once we purchased a new SUV from this dealership. Upon closer inspection of the vehicle once we got it home we found damage caused by the dealership while installing a license plate bracket on the front of the SUV. We sent pictures and talked to two separate managers about the damages and didn’t have our calls returned as we were promised. After numerous calls on our end we were finally told that the damage caused to the vehicle wasn’t their service department’s fault but the fault of Volkswagen for sending them sharp hardware to attach it. Shame on this dealership for passing the buck and not owning up and fixing the damage they caused! We will be dropping our brand new SUV off at a body shop next week and will be paying out of pocket to fix their damages. Please think twice before dealing with this car lot!!! More

Found a pre-owned vehicle here rated as a great deal through TRUECar online. I Called and talked to Sales Consultant Trini Ramirez. He went out and inspected the vehicle and I gave him a $500 deposit to hold it since I live over 120 miles away. I arrived at the dealership and Trini was professional, courteous, and his knowledge and judgment about the vehicle was excellent, I was grateful I put down the deposit based on his assessment. While on hold trying to talk to a loan officer at my credit union, I ask Finance Mgr. Pablo Serna if he could check with one of his contacts; he had me an approval at almost the exact same rate as my credit union while I was still waiting on hold. This dealership does a lot of things right making my car buying experience actually enjoyable. If you hate going shopping for a vehicle, North Park VW will give you a positive paradigm shift making car shopping a pleasurable experience! I,m 63 yrs. old, and have bought a lot of cars over the years and the car buying experience at North Park VW is superior to all I've ever had. Oh, and did I mention, they actually delivered my vehicle over 120 miles the same day after completing my purchase at 5:00pm! Great team providing quality service at this dealership! More
