I never get a call returned when I’m told “they will get right back to me”. Customer service is not good. Alfonso was much nicer and more professional than some of the other attendants I’ve had before. Like one who suggested I (a woman) have my brother check my oil for me. Apart from one helpful member of staff, the rest appeared indifferent or hardly spoke any English. I didn’t appreciate being passed back and forth between the office and the garage like a lost penny. There was no one to greet customers and nowhere to sit down. Given the size of the floor, the lack of seating is inexcusable. After my car had been serviced, the interior was left reeking of gasoline. When I complained they said it must have been the (sealed) takeaway I had just put on the passenger seat. It’s the first time I’ve ever had something like this happen since getting my car serviced anywhere, and I don’t appreciate being lied to. Who doesn’t smell the difference between fuel and food ! I had to leave the car in my garage overnight with all the windows open in order be get rid of the smell. They also forgot to reset dashboard settings as I had left them, so I ended up driving around with an illegible screen ! Fortunately they were able to adjust them the minute I returned. But why not be more careful in the first place ? This is the third time I’ve brought my car to this Toyota service center as it’s close to where I live and I have discount coupons. In future I’ll try another garage, Toyota or otherwise. More
