I thought I came in for regular service and had a busy day planned for after but after inspection I ended up there all day. Mr. Pena, was great when he was introduced by his sales employee, wanted to go the extent for us. Unfortunately this was our first dealer to look, we said thank You to the associate which did not provide a employee, wanted to go the extent for us. I had such a horrible experience where I felt like a number versus a human. There were moments when Manny disappeared several times, at most 45 minutes. Overall the process took about 7 hrs. Once we sat down with the writer and signed the contract I noticed that my name was misspelled. I asked Oscar if he could fix it and he said he would. 3 hrs later I was getting the run around and still no revisions to my contract. It was getting late and at this point all parties were disgruntled but Oscars condescending remarks were not appreciated especially ones aimed towards my mother. At this point I was ready to just take the car and go home. When Manny was ready to give me the vehicle, the battery was dead. He informed me that They could either recharge it and I can drive it around for 20 minutes or so. He also said that if it doesn’t work I have roadside assistance to help me (not exactly what I want to hear if my new car isn’t working). My other option was to leave the car overnight so that they could switch the battery in the morning when service opens. I opted to leave it overnight, which I’m glad I did. Had I driven off the lot with the vehicle, I wouldn’t have been able to cancel my contract with them. The following day I made an appointment to meet with the finance director to cancel everything. The sales manager was apologetic, as well as Manny and the finance director. Oscar casually came into the office and yet didn’t offer an apology. Ultimately I would have appreciated if this particular store followed the norm reeves mission statement in treating others the way you want to be treated, transparency, and communication. If you’re interested In purchasing or leasing a Honda, I would go somewhere else. More
