Everyone was nice and not too much pressure, but really I want to single out my salesman Gabe for praise. I talked to a lot of dealerships last week, and some of them wasted my time telling me a price that I want to single out my salesman Gabe for praise. I talked to a lot of dealerships last week, and some of them wasted my time telling me a price that I wanted and then not having the car they said, pressuring and upselling me. Gabe was straightforward and down to earth and just a genuine person I felt ok trusting. I really appreciated that he, for example, encouraged me that I could get more for my old car at Carmax (true) and he even offered the extra nice gesture of picking me up from Carmax after instead of me Ubering back to West Covina, which was a small thing but honestly made the whole experience feel more friendly. I like that he really heard me about what I wanted and could afford and was transparent, found the car I wanted to a markup I agreed was reasonable (well, 2022 version of reasonable) and made an experience I find extremely stressful as unthreatening as possible. You should give him a raise or a bonus for giving your dealership a good name, because I will definitely recommend him to friends. More
