My girlfriend and I had been looking to purchase either a new or newer honda for her the past few months, and had exhausted so many different options: internet, classifieds ads, Orange and San Diego County d new or newer honda for her the past few months, and had exhausted so many different options: internet, classifieds ads, Orange and San Diego County dealerships, and also the random private sellers. Until last week, we had both almost officially given up due to a few of our needs not being met. Not that either of us our snobs, but both of us have careers in customer service and hospitality which has conditioned us to be a little more aware of how a sales representative engages us throughout the entire process than perhaps other buyers might be. She is a very successful wedding and event planner and I train international hotel and casino management team leaders in customer service and hospitality. With that being said, our experience with Paul Dillman at Norm Reeves Honda Cerritos was exceptional on many different levels. Minutes after arriving, Paul greeted both my girlfriend and I with a very professional and sincere welcome. He asked if we had been to Norm Reeves Cerritos before and when we said no and explained our recent experiences, he was genuine in his apology for the others over the past few months who had over promised and under delivered. He assured us that he would help us with any questions we might have and his goal was to make us happy, comfortable, and informed (which he did). He showed us around the property and created value to not only why we should purchase Honda, but also why we should purchase through his dealership rather than others. And with all of the shopping we had done the past few months, both my girlfriend and I knew then that we would be committing to Paul and Norm Reeves later that week. He offered to let us test drive any of the vehicles that we were interested in and when we eagerly agreed he sprinted inside to grab the keys. That little bit of extra effort from him went a long way for us. Inside the vehicle he continued to uncover our true needs, wants, and budget. Later that day he proposed several options for us in terms of acquiring the vehicle, which were all well thought out and explained with professionalism, sincerity, and the understanding of what we needed and wanted.
