We had no lights going to our trailer 7-pin plug. The car is still under warranty, and the OEM tow package was installed by a different Honda dealership. Cerritos Honda still charged 2 hours labor ($480~) for diagnosis of a warranteed part on a warranteed car. Thankfully the service department of the original installer covered the charge, (props to Ed Morse Sierra Vista Honda). This wasn't a car accident, or me installing after-market parts and begging for help when it didn't work. This is the first time I've seen the default setting of charging diagnostic labor for everything; and I've bought 11 cars in my life. Former technician at a Ford/Freighliner commercial dealership. Final diagnosis was a connector that was not installed/fell loose. Mike was polite, I understand it's a location policy, but it's a terrible policy. More
