Service Center 2 for 2 Improperly Changing Oil Our recent visit to simply have our NEW Titan serviced was terrible... for the second time! The first time, the service department did not install th Our recent visit to simply have our NEW Titan serviced was terrible... for the second time! The first time, the service department did not install the oil filler cap properly, which obviously led to an oil leak and puddle in the garage. We didn’t know why it was leaking, so my wife took off work to drive back to the dealership (20 min away) only to wait another hour for them to “fix” the mistake. Fast forward to last Friday: we made an appointment for a simple oil change, and over an hour later, my wife was finally going home. By the way, walk-ins are given the same priority as appointments, completely negating the pretense of keeping a schedule. That weekend, we noticed large puddles of oil looking under the engine... AGAIN! I called and spoke to Chad (sales manager) who said I could come right in first thing Monday. I sent him pictures of the massive oil puddles in our driveway, and he assured me they would “make it right.” I took off work, drove the 20 minutes one-way again and showed up thinking they would take a look at the serious oil leak. Instead, I was given a rental and was asked to come back later that day. Turns out, the drain plug wasn’t installed properly this time, causing a ton of oil to stream out. Finally, when asked how they were going to “make it right,” Chad put me in touch with the GM who promptly refunded the 2 oil changes and reimbursed us for the extra driving caused by the service department. Chad also ensured a cleaning company was scheduled to clean the oil from our driveway. Overall, great customer service, but terrible service department. More
