Short story: I spent over 8 hours here just for an oil change and new tires, they overcharged me, lied about doing an alignment but charged me anyway, and my representative, Chris, decided he was done and change and new tires, they overcharged me, lied about doing an alignment but charged me anyway, and my representative, Chris, decided he was done and wanted to go home without saying anything to me. Long story: I had come in at 10am, met with Chris and talked about getting an oil change and checking my brakes. He called me around 11:30 to say that I needed new tires instead of brakes. I had left the dealership to go to lunch, so I texted him, asking to tell me what kind of tires they were, but he didn't. He said he tried emailing the tire's info to me but I never got anything. I told him the email didn't go through, but there was no reply. I asked for at least the name of the tires so I could look them up myself. Still nothing. I had to walk back to the dealership and ask in person to get anything done. I eventually agreed to the tires and the price. "Just give us a couple hours," Chris had said. So I waited. 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours later, I finally go back up to his desk to ask what's taking so long, but he was gone. By now it was 4:00. I was told that Chris had gone home and I had another employee pull up my file and check what was going on and where my car was. "Oh, they're done with it!" But who knows how long it had been done for. I was so frustrated and angry, Chris had bailed without a word, and the kid, Jimmy, who cashed me out couldn't understand Chris's notes and didn't apply the coupons correctly, so I had to re-negotiate with Jimmy about the right price with the coupons from their website. But even then, he charged me the original price and I had to go back and ask for him to refund me the difference. I finally got into my car and started driving it, but I immediately realized the alignment was bad. Even after paying $100 for it, it felt like it hadn't been done at all (Surprise, surprise: it hadn't. They admitted that they "knew their machine was broken this morning"). So I had to U-turn and bring it back to actually get it done. The guy said that he could feel the alignment was bad as soon as he backed it up. (But whoever pulled my car up to the front hadn't felt that the alignment was bad when I'd first picked it up? Seems very scummy, like they were hoping I wouldn't notice) From start to finish, just for an oil change and tires, it had taken this dealership over 8 hours with 3 employees, and 0 communication between them. I won't be coming back here, that's ridiculous. More

I was not happy during my last service. the service rep forgot to inform me about an extra service that was done to my vehicle, which would extended my waiting time to almost 4 hours. Had I known this I would happen I would have asked for an Uber to take me home. Instead the service coordinator went to a lunch break and forgot that I was waiting there and forgot to update me. I had come for a simple tire rotation and cabin filter replacement. I was told it would be an hour and a half to two hours total. Instead, I was there for more than four hours and I was late picking up my daughter from school. By the time, I alerted them to the fact that they had forgotten to inform me or had forgotten to offer me a ride home it was too late. my daughter had to wait for me outside of school and I had to rush home in traffic. I’m very disappointed because I felt like my morning was wasted. They could’ve told me from the beginning that a warranty service was needed on my vehicle. I would’ve budgeted my time better. I wonder if I was a male wearing a suit if I would have been remembered as a client rather than a Mom in sweatpants. my mistake was that I did not have reassigned to me. I believe since my second service appointment in November at Nissan did not go well I had asked in my file that only Rick be assigned to work with me. I wish they had told me that Wednesday was his day off. I’ve had excellent experience with Rick at the Nissan Of Torrance. His customer service skills are excellent. More
I showed up with out having an appointment and was attended to right away and with the most respect and curtesy as if I had been there as a customer for many years.
