I’m on my 6th Nissan and have taken most of them here for service. I always expected to pay more, but felt the recommendations were legitimate and fair. I went in just for an oil change. They recommended transmission and coolant exchange and new cabin and engine filter. Not unreasonable at 55K miles, but for $1000! The transmission quote was for a CVT, which my pathfinder doesn’t even have. When I went to pick up the car, Jimmy wasn’t even there and it took another 1/2 a hour just to get it brought out. Sad to say, I will not be going back. More

I scheduled my appointment the day prior and everything went as planned, Jimmy (my service representative for the day) kept me updated on everything that was going on. He was generous enough to show me a v went as planned, Jimmy (my service representative for the day) kept me updated on everything that was going on. He was generous enough to show me a video of what he seen as well as what he recommended. The fact that he didn’t proceed with any costly repairs without my consent is what amazed me. My service advisor Capri, was extremely knowledgable about my vehicle as she explained what was still covered under the manufacturer warranty. I was able to get the necessary repairs done for my Nissan about my vehicle as she explained what was still covered under the manufacturer warranty. I was able to get the necessary repairs done for my Nissan Altima, free of charge. Torrance Nissan has the friendliest employees but Capri really went above and beyond for me. Thanks again Capri. It just seems to take a long time for the car to be serviced. An oil change (which was not the purpose of the last visit) should not take over 2 hours. The only reason I go here instead of Gardena is because of their Uber/Lyft program. However, the service advisor told me they don’t do it for oil change only-this is after I declined all the services he re of their Uber/Lyft program. However, the service advisor told me they don’t do it for oil change only-this is after I declined all the services he recommended. Not only that, he opened my car’s hood and removed some tube to show me my engine air filter. I told him I won’t do the air filter change. When I got home I saw the plastic tube somewhere else. He didn’t even put it back. Very rude guy. Unfortunately, this is the same guy who kicked me out of the dealership few years back for not having an appt. This dealership needs better seevice advisors. More
