The service department is awesome! I take meticulous care of my car by unfortunately the clutch went out during rush hour in Portland. I contacted Thinh, he located a towing company offered and “loaner car” while mine was being repaired. He worked over on a Friday to make sure my car was repaired in time and only repaired what needed to be replaced. When I questioned him about other parts his advise was the parts were still in good condition and advised a mileage follow up instead. I know that he will always take the best care of my car, repair/replace only what it needs and for the most economical cost he can get me. I would recommend Nissan of Portland Service Center to anyone. Donna Saladin More

No exageration! Chris Harshman (the internet guy), Dennis Taggart (the car guy) and Jeff(the finance/the radio guy) are the best sales team in town. I visited all the other Nissan dealers in the Portland an Taggart (the car guy) and Jeff(the finance/the radio guy) are the best sales team in town. I visited all the other Nissan dealers in the Portland and surrounding areas and none compare. Friendly, straight forward, helpful and no pressure and I got the car I was looking for the price I was looking for. Don't waste your time anywhere else. And, I noticed they have lots of used cars to choose from. Good luck in your search. I feel lucky! More

I am the 2nd owner of an '08 Altima with 31,XXX miles. I received a mailer for a $19.95 oil change and also wanted the car looked at for any recalls or TSBs since I was close to the bumper to bumper warrant received a mailer for a $19.95 oil change and also wanted the car looked at for any recalls or TSBs since I was close to the bumper to bumper warranty being out (so I thought), so I made an appointment to drop the car of on a Saturday morning. Later that day Nikki (service writer) called to tell me the car was done, the recall was fixed, but that the front tires were getting low on tread (true, but I declined the offer for replacements), the battery failed the test, and the tech confirmed the seat wiggle and corresponding TSB, but neither the seat nor battery would be covered because I was exactly one month out of the 36/36,000 bumper to bumper coverage. Upon picking up the car, I talked with Nikki who said it was not her call, but she would try and work with the warranty clerk during the week to get the items covered as I was JUST out of the warranty. She called me back a couple days later (same day she said she would) and said they would not honor the original warranty. They had every right to deny to coverage, but, having worked in various levels of customer service most of my life, I feel this was an opportunity lost to gain a customer for life. Had they honored the warranty, I would have been screaming at the top of a mountain about how great they were. Instead, they are just adequate. I have heard numerous first hand stories about dealers honoring repairs made just out of warranty coverage, and it seems to me a simple fix of the seat rails and a battery would be worth much more to the dealership in gaining a repeat customer than the probably $100 lost in parts and labor. So, I now have a sour taste in my mouth about Rustom Nissan and will likely take my Nissan somewhere else when I need help from a dealership. More

First, let me start by saying that before purchasing the 2011 Xterra that I have purchased 8 other new vehicals and have had good and bad experiences. My experience at Portland Nissan is at the top of my li 2011 Xterra that I have purchased 8 other new vehicals and have had good and bad experiences. My experience at Portland Nissan is at the top of my list. My salesperson was Kiwi, who showed me the Xterra and was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. He did not PUSH anything, but just made a couple of KEY suggestions, such as the length of my garage, weight of the trailer I will be pulling and the turning radius in crowded parking lots; which are all invaluable. Kiwi was truly a pleasure to work with. When I came into Portland Nissan, I had an Infiniti G35 to trade-in and Steve did everything possible to give me what I was asking, and made it happen. Kiwi went above and beyond to save me a trip back to the dealer by driving me to my house to get the title and keys of the vehicle I traded; now that's customer service. As far as the Xterra, it is an outstading SUV. I am very pleased with the turning radius, length, power and interior of the Xterra which is why I chose it. My sincere thanks to Kiwi, Steve and Randy for making the whole process very laid back and truly an enjoyable experience. Joel, Retired US Navy More
