greatest service anywhere, as always! i don't drive a whole lot and, in the cold weather we've been experiencing lately, "ol' betsy" has been a little twitchy about starting as smoothly as i don't drive a whole lot and, in the cold weather we've been experiencing lately, "ol' betsy" has been a little twitchy about starting as smoothly as she usually has for the past 3 years. [i should note that the car is 6 years old, but i've only owned it for two-and-one-half years, lest you think "why was this needed so soon?!"] when i had a package to drop off at the post office this past tuesday, since the weather had warmed up a bit, my '12 altima started with only a slight hesitation. i got to the post office, but they weren't open yet so i sat in the car, listening to the radio. oops! unfortunately, i burned up the last few electrons in the battery with early-morning talk radio. :( fortunately, my nissan dealership was quite literally right across the street! :) unfortunately, they weren't open yet. :( fortunately, i could sit in my car for a half hour until the service department opened. :) unfortunately, even the electric door locks wouldn't work, and i had locked the doors when i left. :( fortunately, the fob has a built-in key so i could still get in when i got back to the post office. :) unfortunately, when the service department assessed my problem, the technicians determined that i needed a new battery. :( fortunately, it was a lot less expensive than even the supercenter stores charge. [i checked when i got home.] :) so. all's well that ends well... once i actually started the service process, i was in and out in about 30 minutes and i am once again an extremely happy camper all because of nissan of north olmsted! :) thanks!
