Buyer Beware! the old Bait & Switch is being used at Nissan of McKinney! Went in today to buy a Nissan Armada (used) the price on the internet was $32,200. I tried to negotiate them down a couple of Nissan of McKinney! Went in today to buy a Nissan Armada (used) the price on the internet was $32,200. I tried to negotiate them down a couple of thousand to cover tax title and license. They stated the price is set and what's on the internet is the price. I agreed to that price and then they ask if I was financing with Nissan and I stated No! that I had my own financing. This is when the big price switch began. They told me that since I wasn't using their finance that I would have to add $500 to the total price. Due to the fact that they were not getting their kickback from the banks. Then they told me I would have to add another $2000 dollars to the total price. This is for making sure the vehicle is fit to be put on the lot for sale. I'm not sure why they don't tell you upfront about these hidden fees. Also not sure why they think the consumer should be making up for them not getting kickbacks. Remember they had told me that the price is SET and not negotiable, unless your the dealer then you can change it to benefit you. When I hear that car dealers are going out of business and we as taxpayers are asked to bail them out, I will remember days like this when they tried to rake us over the coals. I am a police officer in the metroplex and if I conducted business like this I would be run out of town. I would warn everyone of this dealership, Integrity is not priority one. More
