Worst dealer ever! I recently purchased a pre-owned SUV from Nissan of Hawthorne... less than 30 days later the engine died. Brought it back to the dealer and they told me I needed a whole new engine. They from Nissan of Hawthorne... less than 30 days later the engine died. Brought it back to the dealer and they told me I needed a whole new engine. They refused to take any responsibilty for selling me a car with a bad engine and charged me $3000 for a new engine. Don't buy from this dealer unless you want a Lemon, they do not stand by their pre-owned vehicles and once you leave the lot they forget you exist!!! More
I had a transfer case leak that needed repair. I left my vehicle for two days and had to get a loaner car. When I went back to the dealer to pick up my car I looked underneath it and no work was done it was vehicle for two days and had to get a loaner car. When I went back to the dealer to pick up my car I looked underneath it and no work was done it was still leaking and I can see that not even the dirt and grim was touched. I told the service tech that the work wasn't done and he insisted it was so I had them put it up on the lift and showed him the leak and that the dirt and grim wasn't even touched and the service tech Glen said that's how good they are. So after he could not deny that it was still leaking he said they will do the repair "again". Well they did do the so called repair this time and the car was never the same again and they damaged a sensor and bent my oil pan and refused to repair it. The transmission and transfer case where making all kinds of noise ever since. At the end I had to have the Transmission and transfer case replaced at another dealership of course. Stay away from this dealer for your own good! More
Must be a trend...BAIT AND SWITCH. Got a price on the internet, called 7 times to comfirm it and then told that i either give them 3500.00 or the price goes up 135.00! What a bunch of nasty people. I have not purchased a new car in about 10 years and went in just to look but I have to say my sales guys was such a pleasure to work with and did everything possible to get me to my budget. We went to the dealership to buy a used car for my son. The whole parking lot was a sheet of ice and it was very dangerous. We talked to the salesman and he said he would get the financing for him. We waited over an hour for a price on a loan and finally decided to leave and asked him to call us with the price. Well, that was 3 days ago, and we never heard from him. We went to Ramsey Nissan after that and had a great experience (and the parking lot was clear of all ice). More
I will assume any good reviews on here are from the sales staff at this desolate and customer-less dealership. They certainly have an abundance of free time on their hands. These guys follow the old sleezeball tactic of "get the customer in the door before you make them an offer." They know it is more difficult for the customer to say "no" to an offer in the dealership than over the phone. Thus, Rosanna Batista and Victor Abad, salespersons, dragged me down to the dealership promising to put me in a car that day. I took a bus, train and walked 2 miles, only to be given a horrible offer. Then Rosanna called me and e-mailed me back to harass me and said I had a bad attitude. That's right, these guys have the free time to respond to the complaints they receive....with INSULTS. Very classy... I got a car later that day at the Route 46 Automall in Totowa. If you value your hard-earned money, I would stay away from these guys. More
Horrible experience. I got a call after inquiry online. They said they are having special for 16,999.00. I told them I wanted it with the 360 package, floor mats, and mud guards and they said it was all in They said they are having special for 16,999.00. I drive 40 minutes and they say it was a price mistake! I told them i asked the person specifically is she sure two times. They said sorry and tried to sell me car for $23,000. I walked straight out the door. Absurd dealership that should be out of business. More

We were treated with such friendliness and courteousness by salesman Ray Foster and there were no surprise costs or fees. What we were told is what we got and we couldn't be happier with our car! This is our fourth Nissan Altima and we highly recommend this dealership - they are family-oriented like the old O'Brien used to be. We also commend Guy Mazzocchia in the Service Department - each and every time we ever took our previous Altimas in for anything - we were treated with courtesy and respect. Any issue we had was promptly addressed to our satisfaction - even as far as driving me to work and picking me up when my car was done! We love our car! THANK YOU RAY at HAWTHORNE NISSAN! More

I say the Bussiness manager David and he set me up with Gap for my loan and a good service contract that I could afford. Since the new ownership has taken over it is like night and day. The showroom and entire facility has been remodeled and so has the staff. I would totally now recommend Nissan of Hawthorne to all my friends and family. More
