I took my truck in for it's 90K service as recommended by the dealership. The service advisor who took my truck in neglected to tell me I should have a coupon for 15% off which would have saved me well over the dealership. The service advisor who took my truck in neglected to tell me I should have a coupon for 15% off which would have saved me well over $100. Part of the service was a radiator flush. After the service was done I was using my truck and it overheated numerous times so I had to take it back in where the dealership found out there was an "obstruction" in the radiator and they had to replace the radiator and the thermostat. Even though the work was on warranty it was still very annoying to have to take the truck in AGAIN for service for something that had been working just fine up to the service work being done. The service advisor's flippant remark that he waived the $50 deductible for me was totally off track as I personally feel when the mechanics break something that was working before the truck was brought in that recompense or at least an apology should be administered instead of an offhand 'Oh, we won't make you pay for our mistake'. More
It was frustrating to need to wait for one hour for a minimal service early on a Saturday morning, while watching crew who have "not clocked in yet" drink company coffee, eat company doughnuts, and talk minimal service early on a Saturday morning, while watching crew who have "not clocked in yet" drink company coffee, eat company doughnuts, and talk to others who are trying to work, while cars are waiting to be serviced. I wanted to take the opportunity to update the below review of Nissan of Elk Grove. I had some issues (below) with the vehicle. The owner of the dealership quickly responded to my concerns and even me review of Nissan of Elk Grove. I had some issues (below) with the vehicle. The owner of the dealership quickly responded to my concerns and even met with me after hours to ensure I was satisfied. The issues were resolved by the service department promptly and hassle free. Should a vehicle still be properly assembled before purchase? YES Should the "certified" vehicle be properly serviced before purchase? YES Even though Nissan of Elk Grove may have missed the mark on the above items, the staff's diligent efforts to resolve the issues truly made a difference. Would I purchase another vehicle from this store? YES I have NEVER purchased a second vehicle from an identical dealership-- this speaks volumes for Nissan of Elk Grove. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- I recently (last 3 months) perchased a so-called "certified" Nissan Altima at Nissan of Elk Grove. The salesman was attentive and helpful. However, my positive experience ended there. 1 week later I was forced to return the vehicle to Nissan of Elk Grove for the following issues: rearview mirror unattached to window properly and the center console not even attached to the vehicle. The service department graciously fixed the issues after much debate with the sales department. I could live without the debate with the sales department. 2 months after purchasing the vehicle, I brought the car in for an oil change. The service technician advised I needed a new drive belt. Funny how I need a brand new drive belt on a "certified" vehicle that was supposed to be thoroughly inspected and reconditioned. Just three months after purchasing the vehicle, I discovered the entire fender splash piece is missing on the passenger side. Let's put all these pieces of the puzzle together: Parts NOT attached to the vehicle, a missing fender splash. This dealer obviously replaced the front fender and did not disclose the vehicle had been in an accident. I am sad to say this dealer has sold me an accident vehicle they labeled as "certified". DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! More
i think the wait shouldnt of been as long. i think that if you make an appointment the wait should not be as long. i did like the service everyone was really polite. the pricing was reasonable. my overall if you make an appointment the wait should not be as long. i did like the service everyone was really polite. the pricing was reasonable. my overall experience wasnt great because of tyeh wait. i do and will recommend Nissan Of Elk Grove. I have always gotten good service here. Mike and Shaun are both very professional and helpful, work was done quickly and appreciated the loaner car too. I use my truck to tow live cargo, and it's importa are both very professional and helpful, work was done quickly and appreciated the loaner car too. I had brought the truck in for a routine scheduled service, but they took a good look at it and were able to spot some problems that needed repair before they got worse. Steven was very helpful during the purchase of our new car. Waiting for finance person was the longest part and not too much can be done about that. Because we live a good distance from Elk Grove we might need to go to a North area Nissian dealership in the future. I will however go to Elk Grove if we do not receive the same top service as Elk Grove provides. More

I appreciated the friendliness and approachableness of the car salesman. I also liked the fact that I was asked to take the car I was looking at for a test drive before I even asked! When sitting down with the finance rep (sorry I forgot the name)I thought the meet with him was very informative and honest.
