It should not take 2 hours to program another key on a newly purchased vehicle. It should have been done at the time of the purchase. To have to come and wait for a key to program and waste a morning is newly purchased vehicle. It should have been done at the time of the purchase. To have to come and wait for a key to program and waste a morning is not acceptable. There has to be a better way. This was my first ever new Nissan purchse and hence my first service. I doubt I will be back. Sales dept is tops unfortunately service dept is poor More
He is a great person and friendly to talk to while I was waiting for a oil change. I didn't have to wait for long, I was in and out in like 10 minute. waiting for a oil change. I didn't have to wait for long, I was in and out in like 10 minute. More
Kush Singh and John Brooks are the BEST employees of Nissan Elk Grove. They are both kind, friendly, honest and professional. I was recently in to service my vehicle for regular maintenance. I made an appointment a week beforehand, but when I arrived had to wait about 30 minutes before I was assigned a service representative maintenance. I made an appointment a week beforehand, but when I arrived had to wait about 30 minutes before I was assigned a service representative. Ms. Kim Ford was very friendly, polite, and informative. However, I had to call back to find out the status of my vehicle. Granted Ms. Ford was feeling under the weather and had lost her voice, so this may have had something to do with it. Also, it seemed that there were not enough service reps when I dropped off my vehicle, so perhaps they were understaffed that day. She did follow up with me in a timely manner a few days later regarding warranty services for some recommended repairs. Also, about two years ago, I visited your dealership to look at, and possibly purchase a used Nissan Murano. I do not remember the details, only that at the time I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated. About six months later, I did purchase a used Murano, but not from a Nissan dealership. While the overall service I recently received was okay, I chose not to recommend the dealership at this time. I think there is room for improvement. I will be in again to service my vehicle at your dealership. More
The service I received at Nissan of Elk Grove was excellent. I have always dreaded getting my car serviced in the past, even for an oil change, due to the reputation sometimes dealerships have about excellent. I have always dreaded getting my car serviced in the past, even for an oil change, due to the reputation sometimes dealerships have about "ripping people off" especially if you are a female (such as myself). BUT the staff, specifically John Brooks, was sincere, friendly, informative and eager to help. I was very pleased, left very satisfied and with a perfectly serviced vehicle. I received the 90,000+ mile service. The price savings were outstanding as well. I was expecting to spend a lot more. I will definitely bring my car back for all necessary work done. I definitely found a dealership and a representative to trust. Thank you! More
I brought my vehicle in to the quick lube shop for nitrogen to add to my tires. Before I approached at the counter, I saw a brochure with the flat tire symbol. When I was acknowledged, I pointed the nitrogen to add to my tires. Before I approached at the counter, I saw a brochure with the flat tire symbol. When I was acknowledged, I pointed the symbol on the brochure and said that that flat tire symbol lit up on my dashboard and that I needed nitrogen added to my tires. My request was repeated by the person behind the counter to make sure I was heard correctly, and I repeated what I said to make sure we understood each other. I was told 5 to 10 minutes to get someone to work on it. I did not mind how long it took as long as my request was taken care of. I watched my vehicle during my wait in the lobby. After more than 30 minutes, I was called up with my request order and was told of the price $40+. It slipped my mind that adding nitrogen came with no extra charge. I handed my credit card, the card was swiped, and the charge went through. I did not look at the work order as I usually trust your people to do things right. Something did not feel right within me, and I looked over the order. I saw an oil change was charged. Then, I asked if nitrogen was added to my tires. The question was repeated by your worker with surprise as if he did not hear it before since it was the same person I spoke with when I walked in. I said that yes, I wanted nitrogen added to my tires and nothing else. I already knew the nitrogen was not added because I had been watching my vehicle sit in the parking unmoved during my wait. Then, I repeated that I only wanted nitrogen added to my tires and that I did not request for an oil change. He realized his mistake and ran the card through to void the transaction. I have to keep the voided receipt in my possession until my credit card company can complete the processing. Since the processing takes several days in their system, I have to wait until the credit is released back to my card. They had corrected the order and drove my vehicle to the machine for nitrogen to be added. When it was complete, he came by to let me know the tires were reinflated. I had to take a firmer stance to make sure the nitrogen was added at no charge, that the light on the dashboard was gone and that nothing else was worked on that I did not request. He said nothing else was worked on, and the light will go off after a mile or so. Although I knew he was correct, my level of trust was minimal. The light did go off after leaving the premises as confirmed. I did not have a good experience with one of your workers on a previous occassion, but I figured I will try again especially since the nitrogen is located in that shop and not at the service department. I felt less assured of the professionalism I encountered in the quick lube shop. The mix up occurred because my vehicle looked like another vehicle that had an oil change done earlier. I noticed the similarity when the other vechicle parked next to mine, and I heard the owner speak of an oil change that was done. The vehicles are not exactly the same, with the exceptions of the same color and same redesigned body. No matter how busy an environment gets, it is up to the workers to make sure the orders match the vehicle and owner. I should not have to double check anyone's work since it is not my job to do so. I have worked in more chaotic work environments, and I am held accountable for any mistakes I introduce. What I walked into at the quick lube shop was mild in comparison. Therefore, I would have expected the shop to be more manageable. I would rather get any work done through the service department whenever possible because I have been treated properly and the quick lube shop has made me apprehensive to use. More
I took my car in for a tire pressure light. The repair was covered under warranty. I was also informed of two recalls on my vehicle which were also repaired during this service. The staff was very cordial was covered under warranty. I was also informed of two recalls on my vehicle which were also repaired during this service. The staff was very cordial and work done on a timely basis. I was also provided a ride home in a timely manner, although at the time I called to make my appointment, I had asked if a ride home is available. My appointment was made for 7:15 am, however, I was not told that the shuttle did not start until 8:00 am. Had I been informed, I would have made an 8:00 am appointment and avoided sitting in the waiting room for 30 minutes. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received. Thank you More
This is an excellent dealership with a real hometown feel, not at all like the "megadealerships" where all they want to do is "sell, sell, sell" no matter what. The owner is involved in all facets of t feel, not at all like the "megadealerships" where all they want to do is "sell, sell, sell" no matter what. The owner is involved in all facets of the dealership on a day to day basis which is refreshing. I had a trade-in that I was given a very fair value for, and the Altima I bought was very fairly priced. All in all, it was the best experience I have had in purchasing a car, and I'm 65 years old, and have bought a lot of new cars in my life. Thanks to John Driebe and his capable staff... More

Great service center to have your car repaired. Very friendly and easy to talk to. I had my 2007 Xterra's faulty fuel sending unit replaced by this dealership service center at no charge.
