I was told that my DEF system was under warranty by the Sarasota dealer, then was told it was not. My son found where it clearly says it has a 5 year warranty, but diesel mechanic said thats covered by so Sarasota dealer, then was told it was not. My son found where it clearly says it has a 5 year warranty, but diesel mechanic said thats covered by someone else. I told him I had a short that was draining the battery, and he did nothing about it, as I had to have my son come over the next day to take me to get 2 new batteries. Then took my truck to a local diesel shop to have them check it out. He was rude and unresponsive. I had dealings w this same mechanic in sarasota, when he wanted to charge me close to $2000 to wire in a hitch, when I went to an actual hitch place the sold me an adapter I installed myself for $40. I wouldn't trust this man to ever touch my truck. Very sad you spend the money you do on a new vehicle, yet you aren't met w the type of support you deserve. I will never purchase another vehicle from here again. More
