Good Afternoon, Kimberly. While we do understand your frustration with the situation, in order to assist you with a warranty concern we are required to follow the guidelines outlined by corporate Nissan. We would obviously love to assist you with the replacement of your transmission; as corporate Nissan (not our dealership) accepts all costs and it also provides work for our employees. As your service advisor, Carmen, explained, when you took your vehicle to the previous non-Nissan shops, and they cleared the codes on the vehicle's computer, it now does not allow us to provide any documentation for corporate Nissan. Nissan Warranty requires this documentation in order to proceed with requesting transmission assistance from them. Carmen also explained that once your vehicle registers a "check engine light" again that we should be able to pull the code and proceed from there. As this visit was the first time meeting you and your vehicle, we understand that you do not have any other experiences to determine your feelings about us but this one. And we do understand that it is a disappointing situation. I can assure that Carmen and our team are not "shady" and would truly like to assist you with your concern so you can enjoy your vehicle.
