Something positive and good in 2020 I was looking for a midsize pickup truck in 4x4. Because of my Family Legacy discount, I was looking at GMC or Chevrolet. I was contacted by Nick Ever I was looking for a midsize pickup truck in 4x4. Because of my Family Legacy discount, I was looking at GMC or Chevrolet. I was contacted by Nick Everhart. I explained what I was looking for and he found inventory that met my needs. He walked me through the process of getting my activation code and set up an appointment to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted by friendly staff, from the receptionist to passing sales staff. We were introduced to our sales team member, Charles Collier. We were early so Charles took us back to see our vehicle being detailed. The entire process from insurance,connectivity,finance and delivery was very well orchestrated. Great experience We met sales member Lorraine at the dealership to test drive a car for a relative living out of state. Like most reading this review; I hate car sales We met sales member Lorraine at the dealership to test drive a car for a relative living out of state. Like most reading this review; I hate car salesman. I literally have the smell of Axe body spray in my nose from our last test drive with another dealer. Being called "Bro"and having it pointed out to me how dope the wheels and stereo is what I am looking for; never mind trying to get a true and honest up front price. Lorraine seemed immediately different, and that's good. She observed social distancing during our initial visit (which was important as the car in question was being sought for an octogenarian). After a thorough walk around and a very pleasant and relaxed test drive, I felt like we had found our car; a 2018 Cadillac XTS with right around 8k miles. Negotiations were tough however, and went something like this: Lorraine "So, where do you want to be" Me: "1/2" your asking price (jokingly). Lorraine: "Ok, let me go do what I do". The short and to the point negotiation ended with a request to just come back with the best price they can. We loved the car, but it wasn't rare and we had a few others in the running for test drives. When Lorraine returned, she brought the A-game price. Needless to say, while we didn't get our 1/2 asking price request but the price she returned with was exceedingly fair and still below dealer book. Ok, anyone can sell a car; even the previously mentioned Axe smelling "Bros" who are for some reason always on their phone (other customers, I'm sure). This is the point where Lorraine really stood out. My elderly relative was staying in S. Florida at the time and the car was, of course, at the dealership in NE. Florida. That being said, we had to rely on her being able to navigate the electronic hurdles of paperwork, funds transfers, etc... I never thought that dealing with my own relative would be the hardest part of buying a used car. Lorraine was stoic throughout the process and exhibited the patience of Job (I heard he was a pretty patient guy). I never thought I'd take my used car sales person flowers; well, that changed too. I feel like we not only got acquired a car for a relative, but made a new friend in the business. More
