Purchase of Telluride EX I will recommend to anyone to go to Sussex KIA! This is my first purchase with Sussex KIA, and it went very well! I worked with Nelson Jiminez and I will recommend to anyone to go to Sussex KIA! This is my first purchase with Sussex KIA, and it went very well! I worked with Nelson Jiminez and he was very pleasant, informative, and patient with me ( I had many many questions!) Worked a deal with me and did not pressure me. The new Telluride is amazing- its endless features blow my mind. My wife raves about it daily. Excellent "driveability" and "ergonomics" . On the day we bought it, there was a small mishap (battery died at the first destination I drove it to!) Nelson and owner Lou went out of their way to correct it. Lou even loaned me a car and stayed late at the dealership to be sure I got it OK.. Nelson explained all the goodies and safety features of the car and showed me how to pair my phone. More
Jeff Lascala and Darlene in service department are always friendly and helpful. Jeff explains every repair process patiently and clearly and I have confidence in the decisions he makes to keep my car running friendly and helpful. Darlene generally answers the phone and facilitate communication in a cheerful and dependable fashion. I would not return to this dealership regularly if not for them. I I really resent service like this Because surveys tend to diminish and dehumanize the real human experiences that employees like this offer customers. Then thier own internet sales manager gives me the MSRP w/ doc fee for a net price(not including sales tax) on a Telluride, they dispute it & mark up the MSRP by 8%. Got up & left. Wasted time, so my wife & I got a Telluride from another reliable Kia dealer. More

I stopped in late at night after work to inquire on the Kia Telluride and get additional information and lease offers. There was only one person in the sales floor helping out a buyer which I was fine with the situation since it was almost time to close but I was able to leave my info with Lou (Finance Manager). Lou was able to assist me with my needs and gave me his info to speak first thing in the morning. Lou said he was going to connect me with a salesperson to further assist me in the morning. I then get a call from GREG who you all need to stay away. I explained my needs and that I am looking to pick up an SUV today or by 11/13. Greg ask if I ran my credit with his dealer and I said no run me as Tier 1 credit as I am very aware of my FICO score. This is not my first rodeo leasing / purchasing vehicles for 15 years. Greg continue to push if I ran my credit and I was getting so annoyed as he continue to insist on running my credit and became pushy. After I put my foot down I told him you need to just create a quote based on Tier 1 credit. Finally Greg took all of my info including my trade info and then 1 hour later he responds back with my monthly payment of $599. Since I was in a meeting I was not able to respond until 3 hours later as I wanted to find out the details on how we got to that monthly price on a KIA. (No pun intented) When I called Greg I asked him to give me the details on what they are giving me for my trade and price of the Kia Telluride. Greg replied with “does the payment work for you if not then we will leave it as that”. I was dumbfound with his respond and I then asked him “Nicely” Greg can you please give me the breakdown and repeated again “If the payments doesn’t work than that is it”. Let me tell you all this, I lost my Mind the way this IDIOT responded back to me and how incompetent Greg was with this sales process. I then told Greg I don’t want to deal with you and hung up the phone on him. He then called me back telling me he wanted to give me the details after I had called and texted Lou (Sales / Finance Manager) who NEVER call back or reply back to explain the situation. Greg then texted me the info to find out why my payment was so high and ended up charging $2000 over MSRP for the SUV??? Are you kidding me??? This is what Greg was hiding from me and gave me a hard time telling me all the details. Then I found out this dealer was acquire this year and you would think to put Great Sales Advisors on the floor. I am going to reach out to the owner and I will give my full feedback on my experience and how much money he is losing by having an incompetent sales person like Greg on his sales floor. Then I am going to escalate to KIA Motors because customers should NOT go through this type of process. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in my 15 years purchasing / leasing vehicles. More

After a really crummy couple of weeks I finally got to bring my car in for service and was pleasantly surprised at the department is always pleasant. I visited Sussex Kia to test drive it and stumbled upon Nelson, the manager. I fell in love with the car just sitting in it and after driving it I couldn't imagine myself in anything else. Nelson was patient, kind, and an out-of-the box thinker. Nelson has a keen mind for business as well as truly understands the importance of genuine customer relations. I didn't feel like I was being sold but rather that I had a team of problem solvers working to make my dream a reality while staying on a budget. Lou, the finance manager, was a part of the team as well. I was so pleasantly surprised to discover Sussex Kia and the Telluride. I agree with Kelly Blue Book that it's an incredible value. A true diamond in the rough. I highly recommend Sussex Kia, Nelson, and Lou if you're looking for a car full of features at a fair price. More
