Worst service EVER I made an appointment 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance. I bought my vehicle in on the 23rd before 9am. The service writer Erin, seem to have an attitude when I made an appointment 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance. I bought my vehicle in on the 23rd before 9am. The service writer Erin, seem to have an attitude when I dropped it off (first flag and I should have went to the other service writer who received the great reviews). But, I gave her a chance. I was told that I would receive a call later on and she stated that they might not get to my vehicle that day which I didn't understand. But I was leaving town to go on vacation so I didn't think it would be a problem, but was I in for a shock. She called me before the end of business day and said she assigned it to a person and he would be getting on it first thing in the morning. So no call on the 24th. I called the morning of the 25th, and she told me they were waiting on my warranty company to send out a rep to inspect my vehicle. I found this very odd when I wasn't informed of anything nor gave an oral approval. So I called my warranty company and they said this wasn't true and they found it odd that I didn't get a call first. So I called to speak to the manager Manny, who told me he would look into it and give me a call back. No call at all from him. So I called Mrs Erin, back which I got her voice mail. So my fiancé called and asked for Manny, which I spoke to him via 3way and asked him what was going on and why didn't I receive a call back. He said he forgot and he will hit me back in 15mins. I waited an hour and I called back and demanded my vehicle. Which this is now the 27th. I would never recommend this place to anyone and please STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! More
AMAZING SERVICE!!!!!!! I recently had recalls on my 2015 Chrysler 200 which is common now in the automobile industry, but my vehicle was less than a year old and having less I recently had recalls on my 2015 Chrysler 200 which is common now in the automobile industry, but my vehicle was less than a year old and having less than 10,000 miles I was told while it was in service that I needed a new TRANSMISSION which was definitely not what I had anticipated. Roland Maecha was and always will be my Service Adviser as long as I am a customer of Nielsen because he exemplifies the consummate professional in every way. Not only does he carry himself in a very patient manner, he diffused any concerns I had and gave me piece of mind. He constantly kept me in the loop and followed up routinely to update me with the status of my car. He definitely didn't oversell and under deliver. I had the loaner for 17 days and even though the vehicle was under warranty, they covered the vehicle and Roland wiped clean all accruing charges that came along with having the loaner. I now look forward to coming into the Nielsen Service Department no matter what the issue is, big or small, look for Roland, they don't get any better than him. He is simply the best! More

Awful Customer Service About a week ago my brakes just suddenly stopped functioning while driving. Thank god my daughter was not in the car! I brought it in to the closest r About a week ago my brakes just suddenly stopped functioning while driving. Thank god my daughter was not in the car! I brought it in to the closest repair shop I could find. After evaluating my brakes, everything was fine. They told me it was a recall on my car and only the dealer could fix it. I called Nielsen Dodge of East Hanover, NJ, telling them my story and how unsafe I felt. They did not seem to care of my well being and told me they could schedule me a month out. The sense of urgency baffled me. Clearly not the response I was looking for. Then I called the next closest Jeep dealership in Morristown. They scheduled me right away and come to find out, it was a recall that was previously "fixed" by Nielsen Dodge, but installed incorrectly!!!! Hence why my brakes failed on me. One of the many reasons that I will no longer get my car serviced there. More

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! Purchased my "cerfified pre-owned" 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about a month and a half ago. Within the first 2 weeks the power steering fluid Purchased my "cerfified pre-owned" 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about a month and a half ago. Within the first 2 weeks the power steering fluid was leaking all over the place. Went back to the dealership concerned & they couldn't take my car in for 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I brought the car in, have a voicemail from the service dept. saying they were replacing my power steering rack & cooler. My husband is a mechanic and took pictures of everything. We got the car home and saw a huge puddle of power steering fluid in my driveway, proceeded to check the work they did & found they did NOTHING. My car was there for 3 days, not one bolt was removed, the power steering rack WAS NOT REPLACED like they said. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! I could not even get a copy of the service report when I picked up my car they said they'd mail it to me and now I know why...because they didn't do a xxxx thing. Now that I am trying to contact someone about this serious problem I can not get a phone call back from a single person. I will be going there to attempt to speak with someone in person since apparently they do not want to take responsibility for the work they didn't do. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! I am very disappointed. More
