5 weeks for a transmission!!! Rude service! I brought my car in for service and found out it needed a new transmission (the second replacement on a car with 74k in mileage). I have a max-life wa I brought my car in for service and found out it needed a new transmission (the second replacement on a car with 74k in mileage). I have a max-life warranty which they honored but then gave me misinformation in the rental situation. Warranty covers only five days of rental which they then told me that they would work out with Chrysler since there were massive delays in diagnosing the vehicle and approve of warranty work. I verified to make sure that this was the case as I would have made other arrangements if this wasn’t so. Two weeks into the waiting for Chrysler to approve the transmission replacement I called and never got a return call in the same day. I asked again about the rental coverage as it was clearly beyond my control and they told me to call Chrysler directly. I did in which Chrysler corporate told me that the dealer has to talk directly to Chrysler. I told the service rep this and he said that they were wrong on it was my job to settle this. This went on for another 4 CALLS!!! Back and forth with me, the customer, troubleshooting the rental car coverage issue. During week 4, I called again to check on the status of the car and what this dealership does consistently is never have a rep or manager available. They just automatically forward you to the voicemail or have the receptionist answer the question for them. They proceeded to tell me the car was gonna be ready on a Tuesday so my wife showed up to pick up the car to find out after she unloaded the car seats and my children that the car wasn’t actually ready but the service rep failed to call myself or my wife to let us know. At this point I spoke to The Service manager who insisted the car would be ready on the following Friday, which it was, I then explicitly asked him about the rental coverage AGAIN and he said not to worry about it. I go to pick up the car on Saturday and I had no bill and Returned the rental and received a zero dollar bill. At this point I thought everything was OK until a week later I get a charge for $875 for the 21 day additional rental in which Nielsen Dodge/Chrysler said they would explicitly cover. I called and of course could not get any service rep or manager to speak to and was told by the receptionist that the service manager said I knew about this and it was my problem. This experience has not only lead me to never use this dealership again but I also wouldn’t buy a Chrysler if they were giving them away for free. I do not recommend this dealership to buy a car or get your car serviced as they clearly are not on the customers side. Even simple phone interactions are always rude, for example, if a customer calls and you have to put them on hold instead of saying “May I please you on a brief hold” and wait to have the phone caller give an answer they just tell you to hold and immediately put you on hold without letting you answer. Basic common courtesy that this dealership truly doesn’t care about. More

I get to the dealer and service personnel states that My appointment was not in their system. I have the proof of the reminder. I was turned down for service, I left out of there pissed off. Will never step foot in that dealer ever again nor recommend anyone to this place. Maybe they should reflect on Route 46 Dodge or Autoland Dodge for pointers on how to service the customers the right way More

Worst Service center on the planet I’ve been in this stealership twice with both experiences going from bad to terrible! First time I took my car for an oil change, I was very clear th I’ve been in this stealership twice with both experiences going from bad to terrible! First time I took my car for an oil change, I was very clear that I want full synthetic oil, Jimmy the adviser took note and said the car will be ready by the end of the day. To my surprise I noticed I was charged $39.98 for an oil change – that’s usually the price for conventional oil. I asked Jimmy that for that price look like they use conventional oil, he claimed they are running a special for oil change and that why the price, so I thought this is great. When I got home and started to look at all the paperwork and compared the part number for the oil, I realized that’s the part number of conventional!!! They didn’t use synthetic as I asked!! Then today, I decided to take my car back because an engine light. I took it to this stealership because they’re close to my office, so I can drop the car in the morning and go to work. SO, dropped the car at 7:45am and the advisor asked me, what time do you want to pick up your car? I said around 5pm works for me; in fact, I wrote 4pm on the paperwork. Since, I didn’t hear back from them with a diagnosis, I decided to give them a call at 3pm. Jimmy again!!! He answered the phone and said well, unfortunately, all techs are busy and they haven’t had any opportunity to look at my car. It’s 3 pm!!!! – my car has been sitting there since this morning and you don’t even have a diagnosis? He replied was, well we don’t enough techs….so why do you take appointments? This is an inconvenience for me, now I need to take my car and make an appointment with a serious dealership because this pack of fools can’t even handle how to schedule appointments. More

Later was told the car is ready to pick up in late afternoon. Arrived on time for pick up. First they lost my file/ work order and staff running around looking totally lost. After 20 min they finally find the paperwork but I was told nothing being done to it at all. Give me the excuse that the shop is so back-up blah blah blah..... and not even apologize for it. So I am wasting almost the whole day without my car and got nothing done. Totallly unacceptable! More
Hahahahaha you want to get service done? Awful service department. The desk reps will look you in the eye, say your vehicle will be ready in 1 hour, next thing you know 4-6 hours have gone by Awful service department. I heard them making fun of how customers looked on the security cameras, specifically the woman who monitors them, which is totally inappropriate, irresponsible, arrogant,etc.. So unhappy with this rude and overpriced dept that has the xxxxx to ask you for a nice review with the dealership, their boss.. Truth is if you have say a battery replacement (which takes less than absolute max of 30 min. to check/remove/replace) they push your "unimportant task" to the end of the line behind customers getting more expensive work done. I will never recommend them to anyone period, and I have actually told people interested in going there to not even bother. Total. Waste. Of. A. Staff. More

Is even better which is hard to find at a dealership service center. 20 plus years of owning a car they treat you with respect dont force you into anything you dont need( they well give Recommendations on what u need) but dont force anything on u. This is one of the biggest reasons I bought my second Jeep from them and plan to buy my next vech there... I have been to many dealerships and everyone of them treat you like a number or another sale they could careless about you. I was in the Market for a new 2018 Jeep In January stop in Nielson with my Family and talked to Lexy about what we wanted etc. left with nothing at that time they didnt have the vech we wanted. So three Months later I needed some work done on the Jeep I owned already and as I was wait walked back into the showroom and theres Lexy Im sure she sees 100’s of people walk in and out of there, but with that said she calls my by my name. I’m extremely inpressed that she remembered me and I wasnt with the family so wasnt like she saw all 4 of us and something makes her remember us or me than she proceeds to ask me how my wife is and calls her by her name. So again treated with respect and as a human not just another car sales to make a Commission. highly recomend Nielson Dodge to anyone... More

I thought that I needed to buy a few tires. Instead Erin explained that my tire was patched and that the nail was in a very good spot. She showed me on an extra tire in the waiting area.
