Can I trust them? I am a repeat customer at Newins. I got a recall for my vehicle. I had no problem scheduling the work, and was told it was a 2 hour job. Once I arr I am a repeat customer at Newins. I got a recall for my vehicle. I had no problem scheduling the work, and was told it was a 2 hour job. Once I arrived for my appointment, I was told, again, 2 hours. 3.5 hours later, I called and was told that it wasn't ready, and "that is all I can tell you but I will have your rep call you back in 5 minutes." Received no phone call. Had one last opportunity for a ride, so I had to take it. I got to dealership by 1 p.m., 4 hours after I dropped it off. I still could not get a straight answer. Last detail was that it would be awhile because "it was a very complicated job." I asked for a manager. No one appeared, but suddenly, my car was ready. I will say that I have not much confidence that the work was done well, or if it was done at all. All I wanted was an honest answer and I got the run around in addition to being inconvenienced. Did I express my concerns? Yes, I did. I even submitted the details in writing. I have yet to receive any follow up. More
