NOTE: It's been 4 days since I let the people at Newbold know about this incident and at this point it doesn't look like they are going to resolve it. HERE IS THE EMAIL I SENT TO MIKE ROGERS WHEN HE REACHED OUT TO SEE IF I WAS SATISFIED. Hi Mike, Thanks for reaching out. We actually do have an outstanding issue from the sale of the car. The driver side rear tire has a gash in the wall of the tire. We noticed it the day after the purchase was closed. I was skeptical that an oversight like this could be made during your certification inspection. But, upon reviewing pictures taken by my wife the day before we purchased the car --- this tire issue is clearly present before we bought the car. We contacted our sales person, Scott and I spoke to someone at the dealership about it yesterday. He told me that there was nothing that could be done until Monday when the General Manager returned for work. Unfortunately this leaves us without a car for the weekend. Honestly, I'm shocked that this oversight was made during your inspection but the images from my wife's phone show this gash in the tire plain as day. By the way, I know you wouldn't accuse someone that bought a car for 36K of trying to scam you out of $400 worth of tires. But, as a matter of making sure you know that I'm on the "up and up" these images were texted to me and, thus, time stamped -- which I'm happy to show you. So, what I'm asking for is: * 2 new rear tires that match the front tires * A reinspection/recertification of the vehicle This second request is because I know that the car we purchased was so new to your lot that there wasn't even time to get pictures of it on your website. It makes me wonder if this car was either: Not inspected for certification at all Certified in haste Either way, the fact that we were allowed to drive off your lot with a Toyota Certified vehicle with a dangerous issue like this is causing me to question whether this car was given the kind of inspection that I know you, the Newbold family and Toyota require of your techs. Thanks for giving me an avenue to contact you after the sale. I am upset that my family and I won't have this car over the weekend but as long as the issues I have outlined above are addressed on Monday, they won't be mentioned in my review of Newbold when I talk to Toyota. Overall wonderful car buying experience. I was not sure what I wanted, Cameron let me drive a lot of different cars to compare. He was honest and knowledgeable about the different features, I was not sure what I wanted, Cameron let me drive a lot of different cars to compare. I finally settled on a Corolla Sport and found a used one with low mileage, I love it. I would recommend the dealership and especially Cameron to everyone. More

We showed up about an hour later and indeed the car was out front and ready to go. He was very patient with us, answered all questions and was very knowledgeable and helpful. We decided to buy the car the next day and the transaction was very painless thanks to Cameron. A special mention goes to Mike Rodgers for making a very reasonable offer for my trade-in and to Matt Mohan making the paperwork go quickly and smoothly with no surprises. I have bought at least 4 cars from them over the past 12 years and its always the first place I try to do business with. Thank you all. More

When I contacted Newbold to find out if it was still available, I received a quick response with an offer to set up a test drive. I met Sonny at the dealership. The car was ready to go. Everyone was friendly, and there was no pressure. After indicating that I was interested, Sonny made an offer on the trade-in based on KBB. The price of the new vehicle had been guaranteed before I made the trip to the dealership. There were no additional costs. Everything was handled professionally and with courtesy. The dealership is at the top of my list for future purchases. More

They stated that she requested an air induction cleaning and had her sign that she approved all the charges without clearly going over the costs. I confronted the service guy about the charges and he tried to convince me that my wife requested the additional service. He told me he would talk with his manager to try to get the charges removed and would call me back. 24 hours later I had not received a phone call. I called myself and the service guy said he talked to his manager and they could give us an $80 credit on future service. Not only did they take advantage of my wife, they failed to make the situation right. We spent 47k on a new car and they can't make it right for $160. Won't be returning with any of my business. More
