We ended up not leaving to test drive the other vehicles we were thinking and bought a new Highlander. We were not attacked as soon as we pulled onto the lot, like some dealers do. We parked and walked to the main door and we were politely greeted by Dave Stevens. He didn't tell us a bunch of B.S. or talk bad about other cars. He told us to test drive one and then go test drive the others we were looking at. After driving the vehicle and having a good gut feeling about Dave we drove out with our new vehicle. Lied to. I scheduled a test drive of a specific vehicle for 530 (online). The dealer contacted me right away via email and text (which is why they got one sta I scheduled a test drive of a specific vehicle for 530 (online). I conversed with the internet person and she said the vehicle was there and I was to see the evening supervisor. I asked if she was sure because I have heard of horror stories. She again guaranteed the white van, xlt with 9 miles on it was there. We arrived to the dealership about 525, the van was not pulled around and we had to wait quite a while to speak with the person we were told to, only to be handed off to someone else. After waiting another while longer, the manager came out and said that the vehicle was not there. His explanation was that the vehicle had been turned into a shuttle vehicle. I asked if it was the one with 9 miles on it, he said now it has 5000 plus and they have not had time to update the website. We did still test drive another one they had there to see if we liked the way the sienna drove - and it was given to us with 15 miles to empty. I wanted to take it out onto the interstate and back - thank goodness we made it. I did send a text back to the woman I was speaking to telling her that the vehicle was not here (from the dealership). I did not hear anything back. Thinking that this dealership is the kind that will do anything to get you in the front door. Not satisfied, not happy. Very very surprised to see they have a 4.9 rating! More
