On 4/23/11 I went in to see about trading in my Black 2009 Nissan Rogue for a White 2011 Nissan Rogue. I specifically told the dealer and finance director that I wanted to stay close to the payments I wa 2009 Nissan Rogue for a White 2011 Nissan Rogue. I specifically told the dealer and finance director that I wanted to stay close to the payments I was currently making Monthly and that I wanted MCU to be my financing bank. Carolyn tells me that because it was Saturday, that we are using Nissan Financing for the insurance but that it would be changed later. I again repeated that I didn't want Nissan that I wanted MCU. I then get taken for a test drive of the vehicle (first time ever in my history of buying cars at Nemet). When we get back I sit with Sid Slotnick the Finance Manager. I repeated again, that I wanted my loan through MCU and the payments must be very close to what I was currently paying with my other car. He told me 'Don't worry about it, we'll take care of you!"... all I had to do was bring in the title. so a month goes by and nothing no title, no registration. I then get a bill from Nissan financing corp. for $617 after I specifically stated I did not want my loan through anyone other than MCU. I call Sid back and inform him of this. He tells me not to worry we will get your title and registration long before the payment is due which was 6/7/11. The very next day I received my registration, but no title. I call back on 6/8 and spoke to a manager in the showroom 'Bobby' (now they claim no one there by that name) who tells me that he will have the car reposed if I don't pay the Nissan bill. On 6/14 I received a call from Carolyn who wants to know how me and the car are doing and tell her how disgusted I am and how I regret ever walking into that showroom. She too tells me that I need to pay or it will ruin my credit. I received a 'survey card' and Mario the showroom manager calls me on 6/16 because he wants to know why I gave the showroom such a poor rating. I go through the entire story again and he tells me that MCU declined my loan and that I have to pay Nissan Finance or the car will be repossessed and my credit gravely affected. I then called MCU and they emailed me a copy of the approval letter that I never received in the amount of $24,224 which was initiated by NEMET on 4/23/11. There was no reason for Nissan to have my loan in the first place. Today I spoke to Jeff and asked when the General Manager would be available so I could speak to him. No one was available so he then asked me what the issue was. I explained for the 5th time and he transferred me to Sid who tells me my title was mailed on 6/13 but that I have to pay the Nissan bill. I tell them how MCU approved me on 4/23 and his answer to me was that maybe the approved it at night.... I then called Municipal Credit Union and the AUTO-NET manager verified that my loan was in fact approved on 4/23 and not at night as Sid suggested. I should not have to pay when financing was done through MCU but they are not even listening to me. Now it’s I am a liar, don't know what I am talking about, the managers there don't speak like that and I know for a fact I am not making this up. I am not in the habit of not paying what I owe but to be forced to take something I did not ask for or pay for something that should never have been billed in the first place is criminal. NEMET Motors is running a huge scam and someone has to put a stop to them... If you can't help me then please refer me to someone who can because I cannot believe that this is even happening to me after the 3 cars I have purchased from them in the past. More

These people are crooks! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. They sold us some sort of extra insurance policy and told us that it was gap insurance that was mandated by the state of NY. I went into the dealership based on an advertisement they had on the 'nemet website' for a 2010 Marano. When I asked the sales person about this offer and said let me ask if that car 'even exists'. I al After this the finane ready had a pre approved loan for $30,000 and that was my budget and I wasn't willing to go a dime over that amount. Then the finance manager (don't know his name but I did know he had a knife and fruit in his hands) came in a told me to apply for credit through Nissan, which I refused to do so since I had my loan. I yet again explained my situation to him and he almost yelled at the sales person and said 'do you even have a deal that caters to their budget, I doubt you do so go to the podium and ask'.During this discussion the finance manager told me and my husband to go to 'Honda or Toyota' because they didn't have anything for us here. I found this to be very 'demeaning' and 'unacceptable' in the sales environment. I did just what he said, I went to Honda and purchased my brand new vehicle within my budget. I loved the Marano and was willing to meet them half way with the price but with their attitude I was forced to change my mind. I wouldn't recommend such a buying experience to anyone. I walked out of the dealership with tears in eyes after listening to the finance manager tell me I wasn't 'capable of buying a Nissan'. More

I bought a car in 2007 january from Nemet Nissan and i was over charged for 05 Nissan sentra. After a year i was told they want to make it up by giving a better price on Nissan Altima. I traded in my sentra which i bought for $14000 from Nemet Hillside for $9000 in 2007 December for 08' Altima. It has been 32 months ever since i bought that new Nissan Altima and i have paid 9000 in old car trade and 32 months of installments and now i found out, i still owe them $24000. Mind that the car was originally worth $21000. they also sent me the paperwork on request stating the previous car was bought back for 2000 which they sold me about 11 months back for 14000. the car was in mint condition, i should have never went back to them. I cannot afford tp pay for that car anymore financially and mentally, knowing that by the time i completely pay off the car, the cost would be $50,000+. they are bunch of criminals who rob innocent people on daily basis and there is nothing one can do about it.
