SUBARU OUTBACK LEASE After a disappointing visit to our local Subaru Dealership in Wilmington, NC we felt frustrated and let down after inquiring about a lease offer that After a disappointing visit to our local Subaru Dealership in Wilmington, NC we felt frustrated and let down after inquiring about a lease offer that they had advertised and this was also a nationally advertised lease for 2014 OUTBACK SUBARU AT $269 MONTH. When I got home I searched again on the internet for the deal and was contacted the next day by Chris Zimmerman at NATIONAL SUBARU, 2406 NORTH MARINE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, NC 28546. I explained my disappointment with my local dealership who did not honor the advertised lease and had said" No one could meet that Lease price". Chris told me he would talk to his sales manager and get back to me. A few hours later Chris Zimmerman called me and told me he had two Outbacks on the lot for that lease price. We drove 45 miles to Jacksonville and within 2 hours we were driving our new 2014 Outback back to Wilmington. I will tell you my husband and I are retired and we have bought and leased many new cars in our life time but never have we had such a nice experience as we had with NATIONAL SUBARU. Chris Zimmerman was well informed, trustworthy, polite, and had a friendly and honest demeanor. He was not high pressure, he did not try to get more money out of us and he listened to what we were asking for. We went for a test drive, he had all of the paperwork completed for us when we arrived and the sales manager came over and welcomed us also. We spoke with the business manager, Matthew James, about the Lease/financing and the down payment and again we were so impressed with the honesty, friendliness and sincerity shown to us. He was very patient, and was extremely polite with my wife in which I was very grateful. He was very respectful and courteous and was eager to answer any questions we had about the vehicles we test drove. He didn't rush us and gave us plenty of time with each vehicle we were interested in. Randy stopped by and just put us totally at ease with our decision to purchase a Subaru. He assisted with the set up of our new vehicle after the sale and ensured everything was just perfect. I'm very pleased with our decision to buy a new car from this dealership and I look forward to a long relationship. More
I originally went to the dealership to get my current 2004 Jetta serviced and struck up conversation with Erik about the WRX STI sitting in the lot. Jason and Matt worked hard to make sure that we could get our new Forester as quickly as possible. That included calling dealerships all over the state to find the exact car we wanted and seeing about havin our new Forester as quickly as possible. That included calling dealerships all over the state to find the exact car we wanted and seeing about having it brought to Jacksonville. They worked with me on our trade in since there was a delay in receiving the car we wanted and gave me a fair price on it. I worked mostly with Matt and Jason, but the other staff were also very friendly and helpful. The kids play area in the waiting room is also outstanding for when I have gotten my previous Subaru serviced. All around, great facility and great people. More
I used this dealership for routine maintenance twice and they were okay for that type of service. My horrible experience started when I needed my seats cleaned (I had the fabric warranty I purchased from t they were okay for that type of service. My horrible experience started when I needed my seats cleaned (I had the fabric warranty I purchased from the dealership I purchased my car from in VA). I was told that my warranty works wherever I moved and that was the case (I could have taken it out in town too but figured I would go through this actual dealer). I spoke with Beverly and she was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was on the phone with the other dealership and the warranty company and I did all the leg work for the claim. I finally filed the claim and when I called her and let her know that all she needed to do was send them a quote and they would approve it. I was told they only have detailing for their vehicles and have not cleaned customers vehicles that they do not have on their lot. When I called her and said that all she needed to do was send them a quote she said (with an attitude) "so you expect me to take care of this"... Well I had already done everything else and finally just decided to get a quote from out in town and then happened to be going back to Virginia the next week so just had the work done there. I will not being going back to National anymore, even for routine maintenance. More
I started talking to Domenic when I was stationed over seas and he made it very easy to purchase a new vehicle. When I came back home my car was exactly as I wanted it. My car also had some minor scratche seas and he made it very easy to purchase a new vehicle. When I came back home my car was exactly as I wanted it. My car also had some minor scratches and they found them and took care of them at no extra charge to me. All in all the experience with Domenic and National was and is still above and beyond what I expected. More
