Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 74 franchises in seven states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

Several weeks ago I walked outside to find my previous car wrecked while it had been parked on the street outside my apartment in Chicago. I needed a new car fast to replace it and Erik was extremely help car wrecked while it had been parked on the street outside my apartment in Chicago. I needed a new car fast to replace it and Erik was extremely helpful in assisting me with my purchase. He was very patient and understanding in that I was looking to replace the ATS I had before with the same model but with some upgraded features, mainly AWD for these awful midwestern winters (originally from CA so I had to learn the hard way). Most of all, he was willing to stay well past closing with me on a Friday night until the purchase was complete and I was squared away. I was beyond pleased with how he and Adrian were communicative and accommodating to what my needs were. Thank you very much! More

Farris was great but after a couple days of having my Mercedes it wouldnt start and two weeks after that my suspension went out i put $8K down and $2K in repairs before i even paid a carnote i get that i Mercedes it wouldnt start and two weeks after that my suspension went out i put $8K down and $2K in repairs before i even paid a carnote i get that its a used car and i bought it as is without seeing it and had it shipped to Atlanta so thats on me but after spending $10K I cant drive it cause my drive out tag expired 6/8/2020 and today is 6/16/2020 and i havent received it yet and the fact that im a black male i need no interactions with Georgia police after all the recent events so i just dont drive it. Purchasing the Mercedes was a good experience but once i got it everything went down hill i will never buy a car out of state without seeing it ever again i thought since this was a 5 star dealership it would be ok boy was i wrong so here i am $10K gone on a car i cant drive I expect this from a buy here pay here lot but not Napletons Valley Hyundai More
