When buying a new car, there are two keys to the initial experience: (1) the sales approach employed by the salesman, and (2) the ultimate sense that we have paid a fair price. In this case, Mike Wiley's sales approach was perfectly tuned to fit us. We absolutely despise the "hard sell" approach, and when we have encountered it at other car dealerships in the past, we have simply turned around and walked out the door. Thus, Mike Wiley's "soft-sell style" made us feel comfortable and relaxed. His approach emphasized "service" rather than "selling," and thus created the impression that he was supportively working with us. He effectively minimized the tension that a customer necessarily feels when making a large purchase like this by remaining considerate, sensible, friendly, and thoroughly professional at all times. He ensured that our conversations took place at the human-to-human (rather than object-to-corporation) level. We never felt rushed and we never felt neglected. Rather, we always felt respected and appreciated. He is, quite simply, superb at his job. We also genuinely appreciated the work done by Bill in the Finance area as he clearly explained the options available (though he did lean toward a more "hard-sell" approach at times). Overall, we have had a highly positive experience with this dealership to date and look forward to continuing to work with them in the future. More
