I was specifically researching for the Moon Light Cloud color for the Hyundai Palisade, and I was pleased to find that Napletons Hyundai had it available as an inbound vehicle. I was also willing to travel 150 miles to make the purchase. The availability of the Moon Light Cloud color and the great customer service provided by Jordan made it well worth the drive. In addition to providing excellent customer service, Jordan also gave me a fair price on my trade-in vehicle, a Sonata. He took the time to explain the value of my car and helped me understand how it affected the price of the Palisade. I appreciate his honesty and transparency throughout the negotiation process. Overall, I had a great buying experience at Napletons Hyundai and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new Hyundai vehicle. More

The only issue I had was feeling pressured with having to sign that evening to take a monthly payment that I felt was okay, but still high! I traded in my SONATA SE 2020 with low mileage 21K (excellent shape sign that evening to take a monthly payment that I felt was okay, but still high! I traded in my SONATA SE 2020 with low mileage 21K (excellent shape) and my lease was NOT until 7/16/23. I received a letter from your dealership that I had equity in the SONATA and would give me money back. For the NEW lease 1/16/23...I put 4K down, plus had to pay for another additional payment on my SONATA...$180.00 (Not even driving) and $335.00 on my NEW 2023 TUSCAN SEL. I felt I paid 2K more then what should of paid. With that much money down and trade in with at least 2K equity, my monthly payment should be at least $300.00 a month. It would of been nice to change the mileage a little higher then 10K per year. I hope in (3) years from now when my lease is up, that there will be more flexibly with down payment, mileage and lower monthly payment. I've been a good customer with a excellent driving and credit score and returning the leased vehicle with LOW mileage. I appreciate, Brian Anderson and Kenneth who provided fantastic service, but sometimes final decisions hinge on "upper Management" and not what Brian and Kenneth would have given me. Don’t come to this dealership if you are t willing to walk away from their bottom line, including their push for additional warranty and maintenance packages. It took me 3 visits to get a price I could accept. The service department is pretty good. I’ve had only one appointment, and the experience was ok. More
I would be wary of Napleton Valley Hyundai. I didn't buy my car there because they lowballed my trade-in and increased the MSRP by 5k due to a market adjustment. I found another Hyundai dealership that sold me the car for MSRP and offered me significantly more for my trade-in. So, i thought I would take my car for service at Napleton due to the fact it is only a couple of miles from my home. First I had a 3:30 appt. and didn't get to talk to my advisor till almost 4:00, despite numerous employees walking past me and ignoring me. I brought the car in for a complementary ( under warranty ) oil change. After it took them almost 2 hours to perform the oil change, they informed me I had a bad oil pan gasket and it needed changing, but couldn't do it that day. That was no problem, I understand. I scheduled to bring it in the next week. In the meantime two days later from an oil change on a Sunday morning, I notice a large puddle of oil under my car. I had it towed to the dealership on Monday morning and it was a loose plug or cracked plug, they claimed it was defective. I have had many oil changes and this has never happened to me before, but no problem, everyone makes mistakes. The problem is no apology and they didn't acknowledge the mistake. When I picked up the car I asked if they fixed the gasket ( separate issue ) my advisor said "they couldn't fix it because it actually wasn't leaking and Hyundai wouldn't authorize it. Although they acknowledged the gasket needed changing. When I called the service manager the next day and spoke to him he said he would look into it and get back to me. He has yet to get back to me, its been a week and I'm not holding my breath. Another separate issue, I spoke to an advisor about a problem I had experienced with my front collision warning system, and his advice was to turn it off. I recently jumped on a Hyundai forum and discovered it is a problem and the sensors could be misaligned. This was a major safety issue. In summary, I feel Napleton Hyundai does not really want to handle warranty work and severely lacks customer service skills. I have made Hyundai USA aware of their poor service and will be taking my car to another dealership. If your looking to buy a Hyundai I suggest Ettleman Hyundai. Paul Hanft More
