Edward W. Napleton, opened his first automotive business in 1931 on Chicago's South Side. With a $700 loan, a strong work ethic and a belief in common courtesy, he opened the Napleton Buick Service Station. Francis Napleton, Edward's son, was by his side to help foster the growth of the young business in its early years.
Napleton's first dealership was a DeSoto franchise, and when that brand was discontinued with little warning, Napleton quickly aligned itself with another Chrysler nameplate, Plymouth, eventually being awarded several additional franchises. Edward and Francis both believed in hard work and exceptional customer service, values that they passed down to the next generation of Napletons. Five of Francis' eight children have worked in the auto business their entire lives.
Edward F. ("Ed") Napleton, Francis' son, is a third-generation auto dealer. He began his career as a kid sweeping the floors at the dealership owned by his father and grandfather. He moved up the ranks, serving as a technician, then in sales and finance, and eventually as a general manager. At just 23 years of age, Ed became the youngest car dealer in the United States when he was awarded a Pontiac dealership in Blue Island, Illinois.
Today, the Ed Napleton Family operates more than 74 franchises in seven states. Taking pride in helping each community they live and work in, the Napleton Family name has become synonymous with excellence and teamwork. What started as a small family-owned business has blossomed into one of the most forward-thinking dealership groups in the country. Four of Ed's five children have proudly joined him in pursuing the family business and have a hand in the company's day-to-day operations.

worst experience ever I went to Napleton's Valley Hyundai few days ago because somebody that bought a car 2 months ago and had excellent experience buying a car send me the I went to Napleton's Valley Hyundai few days ago because somebody that bought a car 2 months ago and had excellent experience buying a car send me there. Let me tell you how I was treated. Everything with my salesperson was great ,he was listening to me ,found me the exact car I was looking for than we went forward with closing the deal and I was so happy that I found my dream car. The salesperson ask me what is going to take them to seal the deal today and I told him and he said that he will present the number to his manager Ray and than the game started ,the old school dealership shady GAME. My salesperson came back and told me that we are very close ,only $100 away ,but little that they know I was to an another Hyundai dealer and their price was $200 higher ,but the payment was $130 less !!!!! How is that even possible???? and I have 790 score credit which I already told them!!!!! They saw young guy and wanted to take advantage of it!!!!!! Than this old school RUDE guy came out named Ray and started talking to me like he owns me -xxxx NO!!!! He said that I don't know what I am talking about and almost felt like he was telling me that I can not afford the car if I think the payment is to high?????? I left the building very upset and the sent the salesperson to chase me out and tell me they will do $35 less from what I offered to start with. Now all of the sudden from $535 payment down to $399 ??????????????? Shady ,shady ,shady place . Give yourself a favor do not waist your time and don't even think about going there!!!!! More

My mother bought a car from them a few months back and she was completely satisfied with her car and that when I had to get a new car because of an accident that almost totaled my other one, she contacted the gentlemen she dealt with here who was Jordan and he got me such an amazing deal that I don't think I could of gotten anywhere else. With no credit as a young adult I thought I'd only be able to get a crappy used car that I only wanted me to get from point a to point be. But Jordan was able to get me a loan before i even made it to the dealership by applying for it online and he got me approved for a new 2016 Hyundai Elantra that has all get features I could only dream of in a car. I didn't even expect to drive away with a new car that night but they totally made it happen for me!!! Jordan is the best salesman I have ever dealt with and if I ever need to get another car or even refer a friend he is my go to guy forever!! Also Dennis Crocket is the nicest guy and really helps explain everything you need to know when you're doing the financing and is an amazing guy!! These people are the best! More

Third time was a charm! I visited this dealership when it was under a previous owner...twice. Not a good experience. I decided to give it another try and a, SO glad I did! George was a great and very attentive sales person, who didn't act at all like the typical "salesman". He was so nice, knowledgable and made the purchase fun. Kyle, who appraised my car was such a joy to work with. After accusing me of having a dog, he gave me a fair price for my trade. The finance portion of the purchase was even quick and painless. I drove away with the car of my dreams...and three new family members! More

Bad car shopping experience!!!!!!!!! I was refereed to Napletons Hyundai cause a coworker had a great experience with the sales staff and management. Well let me say that This car dealers I was refereed to Napletons Hyundai cause a coworker had a great experience with the sales staff and management. Well let me say that This car dealership has gone thru some HUGE CHANGES as is now extremely shady and unprofessional. I came to a final price on a new Hyundai with a sales person with help from his finance deptartment. The NEW SALES MANAGER came out in his suit and increased the price that I had already agreed on by $1,500. What just happened? I just walked out of this dealership. I was later contacted I explained what had happened and of course they apologized and asked me to come back in and the price would be as originally agreed upon. After what had happened to me the day before I will never plan to buy from this dealer again. My friend who had referred me to them was confussed? He later explained to me that the GM that he originally worked with had been moved to another Napleton Location? I wonder why do they do that? I can only say what my coworker experienced during his car buying, the old management was understanding and up front with the entire experience NO FUNNY Business! Well planning to take a long drive to a HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP in the South Suburbs to buy my HYUNDAI at the price that NApletons Hyundai originally wanted to sell me the car at. This store should understand that those OLD CAR SALESMAN tricks don't work anymore!!!!!!! More
