Memories Abound Whenever I walk into a dealership I often think of trepidation. Why do I say that? Well most dealership's in the past had one thing in mind, and that Whenever I walk into a dealership I often think of trepidation. Why do I say that? Well most dealership's in the past had one thing in mind, and that was to sell cars. Almost like a strong arm tactic to get the perspective buyer paired up with a car, financed and out the door. Well at least that's what my perception of the whole process was.... When I walked into Napleton's Palm Beach Acura Dealership, I started to get the pangs of dread, but was soon calmed by Mr. Irwin Baker, Salesman, who put me at ease as I looked around the lot to find my "first" luxury automobile. Mr. Baker, showed me the inventory in the dealership and was eager to tell me about each model I came in know. We talked about headroom to see if I fit a particular car, general comfort of the seats to ensure that I felt good about the comfort that was offered, and the different accessories the car brand offered. Initially I wanted to see the TL, but liked the TSX so much that I decided that was the direction I wanted to follow. I decided on the color, "Black." That was such a sharp color in the sun light with a brown/black interior that produced a very decedent car, one I would be proud to drive and own. Mr. Baker, sat with me and we discussed finance, we ran numbers and when something didn't work for me, he took the time to figure out what did. Ultimately, the numbers worked out and I was the proud owner of an Acrua TSX from Napleton's Palm Beach Acura. Mr. Baker's professionalism coupled with his untiring ability to provide exceptional service to the customer is simply phenomenal. I would never hesitate to recommend any of my friends and or family the opportunity to work with such a fine professional, Mr. Irwin Baker. Worst Dealership I've Encountered I began communicating through the internet with Napleton's Palm Beach Acura, Melinda Clemons, internet sales person responded promptly, I asked some q I began communicating through the internet with Napleton's Palm Beach Acura, Melinda Clemons, internet sales person responded promptly, I asked some questions and scheduled an appointment for a test drive. upon our arrival there was no receptionist at the desk, no sales personnel on the showroom floor so we walked back to the service cashier who called for Melinda. They couldn't find the key to the key box containing the keys to the cars, then brought up a car we couldn't drive as it had just gone through service and still had plastic over the wheels and other parts of the car. Then there was no one to go on a test drive with us, (remember we had an appointment) so Melinda got a sales person from the used car department to ride with us. As I asked questions about the car he admitted he didn't know anything about Acura new cars as he doesn't sell them, his honesty was refreshing. After our test ride, no one could log on to the computers so nothing else could be accomplished at that time. The next day, Melinda Clemons called and asked what out current payment was, I was very reluctant to give her that information and asked why she needed to know, we have three months left on our current lease and repeatedly told her that if it was going to add cost to the new car we could wait until that lease was up. This conversation went on for many minutes and she repeatedly said they were not in business to lose money and I reiterated that we were not going to pay more if the unused term of our current lease would add cost to a new lease. She had indicated the day before if they bought our leased car outright there may even be positive equity involved. Then she called "with the deal of a lifetime", they would give us a check for the remaining three months of our lease and beat our current lease payment by less that one dollar. I originally thought that was the reason she wanted to know what our current lease payment is. I had received a quote for the same car from another Acura dealer a little farther away quoted the same lease $49 per month less. Of course Melinda Clemons said there were additional costs involved but I have the proposal in writing. I guess she is admitting that Acura dealers lie which I've already found out. This was by far the most unprofessional experience at a car dealership I've ever had, there is a reason people think very poorly of car sales people and this just reinforces that opinion. I would never buy a vehicle from Napleton's Palm Beach Acura under any circumstances! More

Acura TL Purchase Purchasing a new car was something I wanted to do since the start of the year but delayed actually doing so because I did not want to deal with the pr Purchasing a new car was something I wanted to do since the start of the year but delayed actually doing so because I did not want to deal with the process of buying a car (searching for the right car, visiting several dealerships, haggling over price, etc.). When I finally decided to go through with the process, I narrowed my choices down to three cars (Acura TL, Audi A4, and BMW 328i) and started visiting dealerships near me (Broward and Dade county). The winner would be which of the two vehicles best met my needs in the following order of priority: 1. Best Price 2. Options available 3. Customer Service 4. Driving experience As I started visiting dealerships, it was the Acura dealerships that made me feel welcomed and like they wanted my business and not like they were doing me a favor by selling me a car (At Audi, when I hinted at a price reduction, the sales person flat out said "You're at the wrong dealership"). Unfortunately the color I wanted the TL in was not available and though I was receiving a nice deal at Pembroke Pines Acura, I turned it down. I resumed my search, now having decided on the Acura TL, via the internet. Jane Dyer of Napleton's Acura was the first to reach out to me and upon learning of what I was looking for, had Bill Baehler contact me. After looking at the model I would be purchasing on his dealership's website, we agreed on a deal over the phone. Irwin Baker and Bill Baehler waited for me near their closing time (I had to drive from Miami to Palm Beach) to insepct and test drive the vehicle which they had already prepped in anticipation of delivery to me. The test drive, accompanied by Irwin was great and he knew the car inside out. Joe Safi was a pleasure to work with through the paperwork. Unfortunately I was unable to take delivery that day as I still had my older vehicle with me, but two days later, I took public transportation to pick it up and Irwin was great about picking me and driving me to the dealership. They had the car re-prepped for delivery and Nelson Adams was great about walking me through all of the car's features and teaching me how to use them. The entire team, stopped by one by one to say hello when I returned which made me feel great about the experience, and they've followed up consistently since then to ensure I'm enjoying my new car and answer any questions I may have. I love the car; got the options and colors I wanted in a luxury car without having to pay for each option (all pretty much standard with Acura); got a better price than I expected to get and better than at Pembroke Pines, Acura which was already giving me a nice deal; and loved the experience around the purchase. I would definitely recommend this team and dealership to anyone looking for an Acura. I'll probably lease from them again in 3 three years. More
If I was purchasing the car based on the sales person alone I would have chosen the Acura MDX. I decided to purchase a Mercedes ML 350 instead.
