Firstly, I would like to apologize for not being able to accommodate you at the time on your appointment, we were busy at that time and all sales personnel were with clients. The car that you were interested in had just been delivered from the factory and still had the plastic wrap on the exterior. Due to this fact the vehicle was not ready for presentation at the time of your visit. I needed to know your contractual obligations on your current Toyota lease as I was aware that I needed to satisfy your account in quoting a lease payment. You and I have since discussed the competitions price quote which did not include satisfying your current lease obligation therefore there was a difference in payment. It is not often that we can compete with a Toyota Corolla lease payment as Acura is a more expensive vehicle but in this case we did that including giving you a Check for $1000 to pay off your current lease.( which was absorbed by the dealer.) As you will find by reading the reviews on this website that a vast majority of clients that have visited our dealership have enjoyed a pleasant experience here and I am disappointed that you feel differently. We value each and every customer that patronizes our dealership and would like to thank you for giving us an opportunity and I'm deeply sorry that things did not work out between us. Mr. Leeder, You continue to attempt to make me look foolish expecting you to compete with a Toyota Corolla payment when in fact you have made the dealership and yourself look unprofessional and dishonest. One would never expect you to compete with a Toyota payment but in recent written communication with you, you lowered your quote from $348 to $241 per month. the only difference is you are not offering the $1,000 payoff of our lease which I told your internet manager, Melinda Clemons if that was a problem, we would wait until the lease was completed. It was she who was confident a deal could be reached, if not she would not provide a quote. The difference of your two offers amounts $3,924 over the life of a 36 month lease, pretty good return on your money. You claim that money was absorbed by the dealer which as anyone can see was clearly passed on to us. You certainly weren't doing us any favors. As for your sales staff being busy, you had two sales personnel on the floor, we had an appointment, Medlinda Clemons said the last customer had arrived an hour earlier, plenty of time to call us and reschedule our appointment. The car that was brought to the office in an undriveable condition was chosen and brought by you personally not us, it was the only car you had a key for as your staff could not find the key to the key box for your cars. After the unpleasant visit to the dealership, no one attempted to contact to try to make a sale, the only time you made an effort to communicate with me was after I posted a negative review of the dealership on this website. As Melinda said to us, one sale won't make or break the dealership, she's right but if this is the best you can do, there will be more than one sale lost. How many potential customers merely leave after a bad experience and never communicate that to anyone except their friends and family? Probably more than you think.
