Bought new Mazda in April 2024. Bad experience with the finance person Victor Aguilar, not an honest person. We had a pretty good experience, but with a couple hickups. Our salesperson, Daniel, did a great job. He was professional and soft spoken as opposed to the stereotypical high-pressure salesman. The Finance guy was good too, bypassing the sales pitch on the extended warranty and all the other add-ons that we weren't going to buy anyway. The only weird things were: 1) They didn't have the CX-5 we specially asked for. And instead of just telling us that, they started the paperwork on one with slightly different specifications, and implied that it was the only one left in stock (even though their website says they have dozens). 2) The CX-5 we ended up with had 2 add-ons we didn't want or need: black lug nuts and a license plate frame. An added cost of $265. They said those things could not be removed because they were added at the factory (a lie). But they weren't even installed! The lug nuts were in the trunk in a box along with the license plate frame. And they had already put the Napleton branded frames on the vehicle. Because of these deficiencies, we were able to get a better discount on MSRP, so I feel it somewhat evened out. The sales manager gave us a good deal to secure the sale, and more on our trade-in than expected. More
