Disappointed in the Lack of Transparency Was supposed to meet with the internet manager over a specific Gladiator that was emailed to me after I searched for leases from US News. I searched t Was supposed to meet with the internet manager over a specific Gladiator that was emailed to me after I searched for leases from US News. I searched the dealer's link of its "offers" and found a vehicle that matched what I want. I spoke with someone - the internet manager - to confirm that the vehicle was available; she said it was. I was late to the dealer. I wanted to be there at 9 before it opened but it was close to 10, which is when the dealer opened. The internet manager was not available and I did not meet her during the two hours plus I was at the dealership. An apparent new salesperson Dennis helped me. I test drove a Gladiator right now though the dealer's vehicles have very little gas in them (intentionally). Upon returning to the dealer, I was asked to sit in the lounge by the coffee. There, I spent two hours waiting for Dennis to bring me verbal options from the finance person. I wanted a 3 year 10k lease. The purpose of my visit was to move from a $600/mo finance payment to own a 2018 Wrangler (it's a great car) to reduce the payment and add a few safety features. I was at Napleton to see a vehicle that alleged was reduced to $36,663 per their email to me. Initially, Dennis brought me a quote of $600+/mo with $2k down for 48 months. I reiterated I was looking at 3 yr 10k or possibly 7500 mi; He wanted me to counter. What was disappointing compared to the other dealerships that I've actually purchased two cars at in the past 12 months was the transparency lacking here. I had to plead to get the residual value - allegedly I was being given about $29,500. But at no time was I provided the total cost of the vehicle or the other interest rate or factor. If the vehicle is $36,663 and I'm being offered a $29,000 RV, the lease for 36 months 10k is about $240 (not including tax title). I was never told what amount was being offered for my trade. I've talked to someone at a different dealer in the past; that dealer did not have the specific vehicle I wanted but was transparent on showing me the 'numbers'. Today, I was told I would see the specific numbers only while the finance person wrote up the papers if we had a deal. Otherwise, the only thing Dennis would tell me was down payment amount, RV, and total monthly. It is probably true that the vehicle I want is simply too much. But the numbers did not add up. I've emailed the dealer and I'm hoping to get the numbers that they were using and to confirm it was the vehicle I actually wanted. More
Very unprofessional and untrustworthy. Called ahead to confirm a car was there and made appointment. Arrived and waited a half hour. Finally Dennis told us that it may not be there and is there anything confirm a car was there and made appointment. Arrived and waited a half hour. Finally Dennis told us that it may not be there and is there anything else we are interested in. He was absolutely condescending and sarcastic, he was threatening me to “go outside” which was albeit entertaining. General manger was of no help and did nothing to rectify issue or handle his personnel. Awful! More

Avoid Dealer At All Costs BUYER BEWARE!!!! I recently purchased a Silver 2013 F-150 FX4 from Napleton’s in Arlington Heights, on Monday 11/25 the week of Thanksgiving. I drove BUYER BEWARE!!!! I recently purchased a Silver 2013 F-150 FX4 from Napleton’s in Arlington Heights, on Monday 11/25 the week of Thanksgiving. I drove over 5 hours to purchase this vehicle and was dealing with Chris Schei. Chris provided me with all the necessary information I needed and was very pleased with him and was going to hold it for me while I drove out. On the way to Chicago I received calls from the front desk telling me they sold the truck, I called Chris and he said they did not (very poor communication between management). I continued my drive to Chicago after confirming it was not sold.About 45 minutes from the dealership I received a call from Mason (a new salesperson), said he would be the one I would be dealing with. When I arrived at the dealership, Mason tells me they lost the ignition keys to the truck....as I sit there for an hour or more waiting for the dealership to find the keys, they concluded they misplaced or the two other people that test drove the truck before I got there (which I already had spoken for) had stolen the keys. Their proposition was to make the keys the next day and have the truck shipped/delivered at their expense to my house and the deal was supposed to be delivered by Black Friday 11/29. I was not too happy as I just drove 5 hours out and wasted my time, but I agreed to the deal (which turned out to be a big mistake). They gave me a 50-mile “test drive” once it arrives at my house. During the buying process, they add a “$1200 maintenance fee” to the price listed. You cannot deny this fee no matter what even if you live nowhere close to the dealership and they do not tell you anything about this fee until you are about to write the check. Also, during the buying process, they say it is required that you finance through them the first 4 payments, as I was not informed about when I called out and asked what I needed to bring with me as I was writing a personal check. I drove back home (5 hours) empty without a truck, and my check cleared the bank on Wednesday 11/27. During the time they say they were “making the key” the key did not get made until Black Friday 11/29.... therefore, they couldn’t deliver the truck until Monday 12/2. After numerous calls to Mason and voicemails to (Andrew Ramus-the general manager) everything was false and Andrew would not return calls. After they finally got the key made on Black Friday, they were in the process of delivering my truck on Monday 12/2 when they wrecked it while driving to my house about two hours away. Therefore, I said I did not want the truck anymore and wanted a refund. They were going to refund the whole check and the interest associated with the loan per Andrew (since I did not receive the truck). Today (12/10), a week after they wrecked the truck I finally received a refund and it was for the original price I wrote the check for, no interest, like Andrew had promised. He was provided the price from my bank and said he was going to write the check for that and throw in a few extra dollars to account for the time the check is in the shipping process. During this time, they were able to repost the wrecked truck (Silver 2013 Ford FX4) for $5000 more then what I bought it for. So even when I still technically owned the wrecked truck, they posted it for sale and it took them over a week to refund me the money when it only took them a day to cash the check, funny how that works. I lost money on this deal when I did not even have this truck in my possession. In conclusion, they false advertise the actual price of vehicles, adding an additional $1200 to each price you see listed. Be aware you have to finance through them for at least 4 payments. Lastly, be ready to deal with a circus of a dealership where no one’s on the same page and the management is poor and doesn’t care about anything but money. Andrew is a liar, avoids confrontation, and unprofessional. Worst experience ever, surprised people buy from this place. More
Great place to buy a car. Kyle Ferrentino was a big help. Took time to show me several cars with no pressure sales tactics. Andrew Ramus was a big help in the finalization of the deal.
