Very disappointed... buyer beware! I want to share my experience so that others aren't treated the same. I drove two hours to purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee after doing a lot of researc I want to share my experience so that others aren't treated the same. I drove two hours to purchase a Jeep Grand Cherokee after doing a lot of research and calling ahead and completing an app to get preapproved for financing, which Lucas said was "good to go". While there, we were passed along to 5 different associates over 4 hours. We repeatedly asked for three pieces of information including trade in value of our car, percentage rate and price of the jeep after negotiating and an initial sales rep telling us he was going back to talk to someone to increase our trade in value and negotiate the sales price. Five people and 4 hours later we FINALLY met with a final guy who was shocked to find out he was the first one to go over the price and monthly payments with us. When we looked over the finalized paper work, that we were seeing for the first time, we were shocked to find out that our $32,900 car we researched was now being sold to us for $36900 AFTER our $6000 trade in!!! When we called them on it, Mario said there was a $2500 fee added to the price to certify the vehicle even though it was advertised as a certified vehicle which I specifically looked for. After spending an entire day being tossed around to various people at this dealership, we were frustrated, disappointed and exhausted. Despite initially asking for Lucas and talking to him via phone and text and asking for him when we arrived, we never actually met or talked to Lucas. We ended up over paying for a car we really like and the whole experience made me NEVER want to go back to Napleton again. What should have been an exciting, fun day of buying our dream car, turned out to be an exhausting day of being jerked around to the point of mental exhaustion and then nearly tricked into paying way more than we should have. We called them on it and they took off $3000 from the bogus price on the paperwork, however we still paid 1000 over the price listed on the website and that was after a supposed $7000 trade in. What should have been a car financed for $25,500 ended up being financed for 33,000 (price on website was $32900). Yes, I hate to admit that We got screwed, but at this point I just wanted to get the heck out of there and be done with this place which I assume was part of their plan for making us wait for 4 hours to even see the final price, interest rate and trade in value! I have purchased several cars and NEVER have I felt so scammed and deceived. Thank goodness for the final salesman we encountered who actually seemed to understand our frustration and cared to try to make things a little less shady. Thank you Napleton, specifically George and Mario for tainting our exciting dream car purchase! More
