I was defrauded and threatened at this dealership The Jeep was advertised and priced online at $29,710.00 and the Carfax said it was certified on November 18th, 2017 by the dealership. When I got to t The Jeep was advertised and priced online at $29,710.00 and the Carfax said it was certified on November 18th, 2017 by the dealership. When I got to the dealership the sales professional and the sales manager repeated lied to my father and I. The Sales Manager and the sales professional also stated that the sales manager was the owner of the dealership and not the sales manager. They showed us only half of a Carfax report and then pulled up an online listing that said "pre-certified." The information that they gave us was fabricated and in the intensity of the moment I couldn't find my information until I got home. They insisted that in order for the vehicle to be certified now, that they would have to charge $2,450.00. They also stated that they only had the vehicle for 2 weeks when in reality it's been at the location since early November. I finally agreed to pay $1,750.00 for a certification and I was told I would get free car washes, 2 oil changes, a tire rotation, and an extra pair of keys. I would later find out that all of those "extras" actually come standard when you buy a vehicle at this location. I asked the delivery manager (David Rich) about the certification and he said he didn't know anything about that. I asked the finance person when I should bring my vehicle back for certification and he said that they would send out paperwork and that it did not need to be inspected. As you can see I was deceived from beginning to end. I was also told by the finance manager (Chris Wilhelm) that if I was not satisfied with my purchase that I could return the vehicle in 15 days but upon reading the contract after the fact, the 15 days was only if there was a manufacturer defect on the vehicle. I went back the next day to discuss the issue with the General Sales Manager. He repeatedly lied and kept stating that Carfax was wrong. When I stated I had e-mailed the CEO of Napleton he said she wouldn't care. When I stated this was wrong he said I needed to be a "man" and own the car. When I tried returning the car he said I couldn't. When I said I would tell my friends and family he threatened me with "I will find where you live and work and I will ruin you." After I posted my story on social media, the dealership reached out to me. The accounts of what happened were confirmed by the dealership. As we were discussing a resolution, Napleton corporate got involved and tried bullying me into silence. Instead of apologizing and making sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else ever again they tried silencing me instead so that this behavior can continue. This has been a nightmare. More

Everyone at the dealership was very courteous and helpful. I had a good purchase experience and believe I paid a fair price. One thing I did not like was an attempt to sell undercoating and paint protection, after I had agreed on the purchase price. However, after speaking with a friend that also recently purchased a Dodge at a different dealership, I found that is a standard practice (probably recommended by Chrysler Corporation).. More

Our sales associate, Jared, did everything he could to make a sale in a very professional, courteous and honest way. His manager, Christian, also got involved to offer us a very fair trade for our used vehicle and we left that night with a new vehicle. We'd never done business with Napleton's Arlington Heights before, but will definitely go back. We got a fair deal and had a very pleasant experience - how often does one get to say that after an evening at a car dealership? Everyone from Jared through the finance manager, Bill, was thoughtful, courteous, helpful and seemed to want us to leave happy. We did. More
