There was look at the Ford Fusion. We asked for Karen since we had ourchased a Ford Escape from her in the past. Karen was her usual friendly self. There was none of the hard sell as many other dealers do. We settled on a specific car and the deal was done shortly after that. Karen was very knowledgeable and made you feel at home. The gentleman that explained the financing was very nice as well as the Finance Mgr. The overall experience was great. We were not pushed into anything when it came to the the car. I would highly recommend Hawk Ford and Karen if you are interested in buying a Ford. More
My husband's truck lease was about to expire. He saw a F150 King Ranch while out driving one day and fell in love with the truck. We set out to find a King Ranch and located one at Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn F150 King Ranch while out driving one day and fell in love with the truck. We set out to find a King Ranch and located one at Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn. We called about the truck and John Swets answered all our questions. He investigated all the rebates from Ford (rebates were alot more than we thought). John told us the process to return the lease and answered all our questions about the new truck. We were living in Michigan at the time and appreciated all the time and effort John went thru even though we were not in his immediate area. When we picked up my husband's new truck we were treated so well. John and the rest of the staff were so pleasant to deal with. I truly felt John valued us as a customer. The professional treatment we received with the F150 was the reason we called John again when my husband wanted to find a Mustang Bullitt. I asked John if he could find one for us to look at and he said "I'm looking at one on my showroom floor." That call was the day before Christmas and we arrived a Hawk Ford at 10AM the day after Christmas and bought the car. John is the only salesman we will buy from. He is honest and trustworthy. Everything he told us was true. I recommend John to anyone looking for a sincere person to buy a vehicle from. More

I purchased my 2009 Ford Escape from Hawk Ford during Cash for Clunkers. Since then I have had it in for routine maintenance. Nothing but good things to say about these guys. During Cash for Clunkers Cash for Clunkers. Since then I have had it in for routine maintenance. Nothing but good things to say about these guys. During Cash for Clunkers other dealers were price gouging because they knew their product was in demand and short supply with people racing to make purchases before government incentive money ran out. I got a competitive price for my Escape. I've been keeping an eye on auto sections in the Tribune and Sun Times and still have not seen an Escape advertised for less than I paid. Since my purchase I also went back for an event they had were former Blackhawk Bobby Hull was signing autographs. More
My truck has been in the shop for a total of 4 day in the past 30 days. On my first trip for a malfunctioning charging system I was charged $257.00 and was told I had a corroded wire. Three week later my t past 30 days. On my first trip for a malfunctioning charging system I was charged $257.00 and was told I had a corroded wire. Three week later my truck returned on a tow truck, the electrical system was completely dead and a mounting bold for the alternator was missing. Later I was approached by the services rep (Larry Kocheny) and advised that my battery had a dead cell and that was the problem and that I was responsible for the whole bill including the tow, aggravated by the lack of support I did ok the fix. 45 min later Larry Kocheny returned and told me my truck was still not charging. I run a handy man service and I have lost three days of work, $600.00 of income and all my work is set back I can’t recommend that any one do business with this Chicago land dealer and there is a strong possibility that this will initiate a civil action agents this dealership Kindly: Bentover More
My 2000 windstar lx sport (50k miles) was in for check engine light and intermittent metal screetching from engine compartment followed by engine quitting when stopped at light. Dealer replaced intake ma engine light and intermittent metal screetching from engine compartment followed by engine quitting when stopped at light. Dealer replaced intake manifold gasket and new valve covers for $770. Within 3 days screetching returned along with the engine quitting. Made appointment through service mgr. then decided to go to local independant shop (thank god), as they accurately diagnosed the problem upon my description, and promptly changed out the cam sensor and housing. They gave me the old part and I was able to duplicate the screetching by turning the shaft with my hands. Cost: $250 and they told me their computer indicated the sensor error code; funny the Ford dealer's computer couldn't do that especially since I come to learn this is a common problem with these 3.8 Ford engines. So much for listening to what the customer tells them about why they brought their car in for service! Next time I'll talk to the computer! More
