Came in for an oil change on 2016 left with 2019 Escape Awesome experience from the burial phone call until I drove off the lot with my new 2019 Escape! Dissatisfied with communication The service manager I was assigned to failed to provide me with up-to-date information regarding the service of my vehicle. Initially I was told that The service manager I was assigned to failed to provide me with up-to-date information regarding the service of my vehicle. Initially I was told that I would receive my serviced vehicle by the end of the business day, however it turned out that my car took a total of three business days. Including the weekend, I was without my vehicle for five days. I was left to continue calling my service manager around the 4pm hour each business day for status updates because A. I never heard from him, or B., it was his scheduled day off and no one at Ford was assigned my paperwork in his place. I believed the service manager when he first told me that my car would be available to me the same day I dropped it off. As things turned out differently, I should have been contacted by him, or someone from Ford, to update me that service would be delayed. An acknowledgement and an apology for the delay would have been appreciated by this customer, but I didn’t receive either. More
