Ms. Karen Boll handled the sale, and I want to say I was treated very courteously and promptly, and I am perfectly happy with the car and with Hawk Ford. Also, I needed some major engine work done, which was covered by my extended warrantee. Mr. Mike Jannotta handled everything in an efficient, polite, and very professional manner. Also, he arranged for a loaner car while my car was being repaired, which made the whole experience very pleasant for me. I tell all of my friends how happy I have been while dealing with Hawk Ford. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I bought a new car in 2013. 1st oil change I informed the Service Manager that the transmission didn't feel right. He laughed it off and told me it wa I bought a new car in 2013. 1st oil change I informed the Service Manager that the transmission didn't feel right. He laughed it off and told me it was just a "new type of transmission the feels differently than others". Only to find out after my 8month old car stopped running that it was actually a known problem with those cars. The cars were litterally stopping dead in their tracks. When I addressed this with the Service Manager he said "We'll it's only on 1 to 2% of those cars. Which is not a big problem in comparison to how many of those cars Ford sells". So in other words Ford doesn't feel your 20K+ is a "big" concern. In addition, Ford roadside service promised to pick up my car and have a loaner vehicle ready for me. I was left at a closed dealership with No Loaner when I arrived at the time Ford roadside assistance scheduled. Then I was told to call a cab or Enterprise but they never asked me if I had money for that. Again left stranded by Ford! When I notified Ford's CEO, the dealership fired the Salesman who did nothing wrong, but not the Service Manager??? More

service director is a jerk We were told by an employee that we a manager would be in at 6am and we would get our car. I told him then and if the person who told us to come in and all he said is that don't know why he would say that then pretended to make a phone call and walk away. More

The finance people are so rude I called a guy and his last words to me were "your crying over a few hundred dollars". I purchased a brand new car and sold it about a year later. I purchased GAP with the car. So on Feb 15th 2016 I went in there to cancel the GAP and get a refund. The guy told me 4-6 weeks I will get a check in the mail. It passed 6 weeks and I went in the dealership asking about my refund. No one could help me everyone left already yet they were still open..... It is now week 9 and I have no refund. I called to ask about my refund and all the man kept saying was well its been processed i don't know where your check is. He also accused me of being mean. I was absolutely nothing but kid to him. I did not use one swear word I do not yell at him. He kept cutting me off mid sentence. He ended up hanging up on me since he couldn't answer where my refund was. I still have yet to recieve my refund. !!DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Go to any other FORD dealer but this one. More

Today I had an interesting experience with Hawk Ford of Oak Lawn, IL Going to look for another dealer with integrity. Nice people no hard feelings. Today I had an interesting experience with Hawk Ford of Oak Lawn, IL that I'm letting the world know so that people that are considering doing business with them really should reconsider their options. Basically I arrive at this dealership expecting to sell my car at or close to the price quoted to me by Kelley Blue book online. These people proposed close to 14,000 for the car which was unacceptable for me. I counter offered at 15,500, a price closer to the Kelley Blue Book Estimate which was well over 16,000. The sales person Michael, reiterated they can only do $15,000. At the end of the negotiations I declined politely, there was nothing wrong. I go outside spoke with my wife who told me to sell it for 15,100. I call Michael back who says he's going to speak with his boss. Not 5 minutes later Michael walks out to the parking lot where I am at and says his boss will only offer $14,950. Not only was I surprised that they lowered their offer from what they had previously committed, but now Michael turns around and lies to my face saying he never said he could get $15,000 but that he would "try" to get $15,000. No thank you, that will not work for me. He then suggested I go to Carmax, telling me they might give me a better offer. In my opinion they were just being spiteful. I came in with good faith effort to negotiate a selling price and I understand they have a business to run, but to go back on their word and on top of that lie for a lousy $50 is astonishing. God Bless them, they obviously need those $50 much more than I do. More
