That you for reaching out to Hawk Ford with your experience. The KBB guaranteed offer program is administered by KBB. As the participating dealer , we inspect the vehicles on KBB"s behalf to make sure the vehicle is in the exact condition it was described as, in the KBB form. When their are variances in the condition , equipment , miles , car fax reports etc, we contact KBB via text , email and phone , and as a third party ,try to negotiate a number as close to yours as we can . The dealership is not the end buyer , or final purchase price decider, KBB is. KBB does not buy vehicles on the retail level, they buy them on the wholesale level. We then ship the vehicles to Mannheim auto auctions where they are sold at auction. We apologize for any misunderstandings , and are re reviewing all KBB buying procedures with the sales force to make sure they convey the process to the sellers alot clearer to make sure a situation like this does not arise again.
