Regular vehicle check up and Recall. I've been with Hawkinson (Hawk) since 97 and the service has always been top notch along with my vehicles. Ms. Karen Boll handled the sale, and I want to say I was treated I purchased a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis three years ago from Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn. Ms. Karen Boll handled the sale, and I want to say I was treated very courteously and promptly, and I am perfectly happy with the car and with Hawk Ford. Also, I needed some major engine work done, which was covered by my extended warrantee. Mr. Mike Jannotta handled everything in an efficient, polite, and very professional manner. Also, he arranged for a loaner car while my car was being repaired, which made the whole experience very pleasant for me. I tell all of my friends how happy I have been while dealing with Hawk Ford. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I bought a new car in 2013. 1st oil change I informed the Service Manager that the transmission didn't feel right. He laughed it off and told me it wa I bought a new car in 2013. 1st oil change I informed the Service Manager that the transmission didn't feel right. He laughed it off and told me it was just a "new type of transmission the feels differently than others". Only to find out after my 8month old car stopped running that it was actually a known problem with those cars. The cars were litterally stopping dead in their tracks. When I addressed this with the Service Manager he said "We'll it's only on 1 to 2% of those cars. Which is not a big problem in comparison to how many of those cars Ford sells". So in other words Ford doesn't feel your 20K+ is a "big" concern. In addition, Ford roadside service promised to pick up my car and have a loaner vehicle ready for me. I was left at a closed dealership with No Loaner when I arrived at the time Ford roadside assistance scheduled. Then I was told to call a cab or Enterprise but they never asked me if I had money for that. Again left stranded by Ford! When I notified Ford's CEO, the dealership fired the Salesman who did nothing wrong, but not the Service Manager??? More

service director is a jerk We were told by an employee that we a manager would be in at 6am and we would get our car. I found him about 610 am and he said we are not open and re We were told by an employee that we a manager would be in at 6am and we would get our car. I found him about 610 am and he said we are not open and refused to give me my car back, then basically walked off. I was a single woman alone with a car seat. I told him then and if the person who told us to come in and all he said is that don't know why he would say that then pretended to make a phone call and walk away. More
