I had to repair the wire with tape to move the truck into a safe position for towing. However I called to let your service writer Eva know this before servicing the truck, then when she called to say they could not locate a problem, I explained again the issue and temporary repair made. I went to pick up the truck only to find the issue was not even noted on the paperwork and repairs not looked at. The tech came outside and once shown, immediately knew the problem as a bad block heater. I did not allow your tech to have the truck again to waste more of our time. I disconnected the block heater and will have it repaired at another ford dealership. Thank your service writer for not listening and only looking for the quick money making sale. The service tech who came out seemed good and knowledgeable, however he did not have the information needed and did not notice the homemade repairs. Not to mention, when we came in to pick up the truck, the run around because "this is not my ticket" was very unprofessional. If I was dropping a car off I would have walked out at that time. More

Problem resolved to my satisfaction. I brought my 2017 Explorer Sport in for service per the Rear suspension toe link replacement on July 10, 2019. The work was completed & I was sent on I brought my 2017 Explorer Sport in for service per the Rear suspension toe link replacement on July 10, 2019. The work was completed & I was sent on my way. A few weeks later I took my family on a 2,000 mile road trip into Canada. During the drive a couple of times I noticed some sway in the rear end but thought it must be my imagination as I just had my vehicle serviced & the recall completed. During my return into the U.S. while driving in upper Michigan, I felt the rear end sway again but this time much worse. My wife who was reading a book at the time even said "Whoa, what was that". Well by now I knew I had a problem, so I pulled off at the next exit & inspected the rear suspension myself as I was convinced something must have broke. I didn't see anything that looked suspicious, so I cautiously continued our trip home by reducing the speed and preparing to pull over if things got worse. After arriving home, I again looked under the rear of the vehicle when I noticed that both rear tires had a heavy amount of wear on the outer tread patterns. Well, I knew this was the culprit because I only had 13K miles on the vehicle at the time. I took my vehicle in on September 12th to have inspected. It was then that I was told that the mechanic failed to align the rear after the toe link replacement was done resulting in a 13 degree toe out on both rear tires. WOW! No wonder I was loosing grip. It was being forced to ride on the outside of the tires which were now worn down. Scary stuff & could have resulted in an accident at highway speeds. I was assured by my service advisor Kathleen Bucholz that they accepted responsibility and would replace the ruined tires (Well, I would hope so). Of course the tires were not available anywhere that day & I would have to come back the following week to have them replaced (REALLY, Okay). I was then charged for my oil change & told to come back for the tires (No offer to maybe comp me for the oil change because of this debacle). All of this took 3 hours on the 12th. I returned on the 16th to have the tires replaced. I was now guided by Kathleen into the Quick Lube side to have the tires done. Of course they have no idea what's going on so I was now at the back of the line with a full house getting oil changes. 90 minutes later, the tires were installed & I was sent on my way. No fault of Alex, who is a pleasant employee who I've dealt with before but come on. I just think Hawk Ford management should be aware of what I experienced. By the way, I bought my Explorer from this dealership & paid a pretty penny for it. More

That made my encounter at Ford a 5 star experience. Tod is a great example of how a customer should be treated. More
