I purchased a 2007 Mazda CX9 recently and the check engine light came on just days later. They picked up my vehicle and brought me a loaner and had my vehicle back within the week. Jeff Paoli was a great salesman and the rest of the crew was great in expediting my sale and the extra TLC my vehicle needed was excellent. The salesman, Joe, was very personable but not at all pushy. He spent a lot of time with us looking for the perfect car for our needs and also worked very hard to offer us the best price he could. We felt that we got a very good price on the new vehicle and a very good price for our trade in. Tony helped us through selecting a warranty package and saved us money on financing. Phil, a distinguished gentleman, seemed to supervise sales and finalized prices. He and Jo encouraged us to take the car we were interested in for the afternoon to really get a good test drive. We never felt under pressure but the staff also wasted no time in putting us on the road with our new Lacrosse. We appreciate their efforts and personal interest in making us happy customers. Buying a care from Courtesy was a pleasurable experience. More
I just recently purchased my 2007 camry from this dealership. Brian was very excited and friendly when showing me vehicles. I wasn't sure what type of vehicle I wanted and I was also a bit indecisive dealership. Brian was very excited and friendly when showing me vehicles. I wasn't sure what type of vehicle I wanted and I was also a bit indecisive on my budget as well. He was comfortable showing me many cars. We found the camry but since it was dark we decided to make an appointment to come back and drive it. The only reason I didn't give a complete 5 out of 5 is because when we returned they had already sent the camry to their other dealership due to a small bit of miscommunication. Anthony was very quick in getting it back for us to do another test drive two days later. Another small thing is that Brian was great in showing us plenty of cars but sometimes lost focus in the one we were interested in. This may be a good thing to those of you who are indecisive or need a wide variety. Everyone is different but I just wanted to explain my rating. Brian was very understanding and never showed us a vehicle that was out of our price range, which I respect. I decided to purchase the 2007 Toyota camry with my fiance and used my old car for trade in. My old car was not worth the amount that Anthony gave us for it. It was worth much less but he wanted to just give us that amount and not have to hassle with it which I really appreciate. Also, the camry was priced due to its exact condition but Anthony was still willing to put in writing that he would fix the few things we asked him to. There was the tiniest specks of rust and a small peeling of the window tint and he was willing to take the car for a day, give me a great 2012 Lacrosse loner, and replace all of these things. The window wasn't even put in writing. I asked him if he could fix it when I showed up for the fixing of the rust specks and he was more than happy to take care of it. I do reccommend this dealer. They are friendly, funny, and very personable. They're goal is not to get as much money as they can in one deal but it is to make a comfortable price and relationship between customer and seller so that the customer feels the want to come back in the future. Sure it's business, but it is a technique that is wonderful for both buyer and seller and it's one that many dealers are not clever enough to think of. If you're looking for a car stop on over and view the lot or look at their site. I believe you won't be disapointed. Besides you could atleast stop for the complimentary popcorn and soda :) More

Made the deal over the phone because we live 4 hours away. Got there 7 at night and started signing, other salesmen in the building sounded like it was party time and swearing. I swear like a sailor myself but there is a time and place and that was not one of them. They destroyed our plates getting them off our old vehicle and Adrianne thought it was funny when she told us. While we were sitting in our new vehicle another salesman got in our old one, started it and revved it clear up and tore threw the parking lot. Not impressed at all. Then had to argue with Adrianne about filling up the vehicle with gas. Only reason we got gas is because I had to go back in and talk to Brad. Did not want to deal on price very much either, only reason we got it was it was what we thought we wanted, now I wish we would have never got it. Was not impressed at all and would not recommend this dealership. And it was a certified vehicle and when we get done they tell us there is no owners manual, then get one. More
I purchased my car over the internet, and I had some concerns about driving all the way from St. Louis, MO to Crystal Lake, IL (over 200 miles). Dennis assured me that there would be no 'playing games' at his dealership, and he was true to form. He stayed in constant communication with me as the deal progressed, and did everything he said he would do. The deal Dennis worked out was terrific! I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted and got a good deal on my trade in. The transaction was pretty smooth, and I'm glad I chose Courtesy Buick GMC. I've had some bad experiences with other car dealerships.....even at my local Lexus dealer, but my husband and I both agreed that this was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences either of us have had. This place is amazing! I was in the market for a car a thought was out of my reach if I got it new and this team (Anthony and Jeff) made it happen for me. I am so thrilled with my new vehicle. After he met and started working with Anthony and Jeff, he enjoyed himself and really settled in to find me a new car. The friendliness is what really made us feel welcome. Everyone seems genuine, which you don't always find at dealerships. I have bought numerous cars over the years and have never had a positive experience throughout the whole process until now. All in all, I got the exact car with all the options I wanted, at a phenomenal deal and will definitely be back when it is time for another car. Great job on all fronts!!! More
Adrianne, Phil & Brad went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. They were very fair and upfront on everything. No pressure but relationship building. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had in 20+ years of buying cars. Don't forget to see Brad - he has tons of experience in the business and can really save you money. He saved me over $2,500 because of his relationships and experience with their lenders. Do make sure to also ask for Adrianne - she is probably the best sales person they have. If she didn't know the answer to a question she found out the answer instead of giving you a car salesperson line. I would ask for her first. More
I would NOT recommend this dealership. They do not stand by their product. When my younger brother purchased a Jeep from them, he drove it off the lot and within 10 miles the check engine light went on and by their product. When my younger brother purchased a Jeep from them, he drove it off the lot and within 10 miles the check engine light went on and he realized the A/C did not work properly. Since it was JUST purchased and it was a pre-existing issue we figured it would not be an issue and they informed him of 3,000 mile DEALERSHIP warranty to go along with the extended warranty he purchased. At first when I went in they said no worries and they would take care of it, but then after figuring out what was wrong with it they changed their mind. Long story short they were very rude in letting him know they would not stand by the dealership warranty and he had to use the extended warranty. This would not have been a big deal if the extended warranty did not have a clause that it wasn’t used he would get a check for $1400. I would think that when making such a big purchase that had preexisting issues a company would do whatever possible to accommodate an unsatisfied customer. However, as stated his expectations were not met or exceeded. So with SO many other dealerships out there I would strong recommend using someone else to make such a big purchase. More
