Matthew is a treasure, and it appears that Naples Acura, in general, has great staff and are very much noted for avoiding the obnoxious ‘hard sell’ and that kind of thing. Matthew was my point of contact fr in general, has great staff and are very much noted for avoiding the obnoxious ‘hard sell’ and that kind of thing. Matthew was my point of contact from the very beginning. I was buying a car from afar, living in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I’ve never done that through a dealer before. Matthew walked me through it and made everything painless. There was no problem at all with me sending a mechanic to check the car out and, indeed, they welcomed him and Matthew said that he appreciated that the mechanic very much took his time with evaluating the car. To cut a long story a bit shorter, Matthew made everything easy, and anyone who’s ever bought a car from a dealer knows that’s definitely not a given. He was very diligent in checking all the boxes and extremely responsive in getting back to me and in contacting me to let me know when I need to provide additional documentation or whatever the case might be. I flew out there from Las Vegas, my flight arriving at about 9:45 AM, and Matthew was there in the baggage claim area waiting for me. I landed in Fort Lauderdale — clear across the substantial Florida peninsula from Naples — but he was happy to come pick me up and drive me west across Florida to Naples. Anyone who’s ever traveled around Florida undoubtedly appreciates how huge the place is )deceptively so, actually) and that drive across southern Florida is a substantial one, totaling about 110 miles and requiring about an hour and 45 minutes of travel time. Talk about going the extra mile. Quite literally. Anyway, once we arrived there Matthew and his associates sorted me out with all of the official stuff — the paperwork, the financing, and all of that — and made sure I was set with the car and understood how everything worked. I got everything signed, including the downpayment check, and it was all much easier than I ever remember a dealer transaction being before, whether buying new or used. Because I was from out of state and my somewhat uptight state DMV required a friend verification they had to call a sheriff’s deputy come and inspect the car, taken care of in short order. Basically, Matthew and the man presiding over the financial paperwork walked me through everything with the greatest of ease. There are very pleasant people working at Naples Acura, too, I have to say. Again, anyone who’s ever bought a car from a dealer before knows that this is most definitely also not a given. Hands down, this was the single best experience I’ve ever had in buying a car from the dealer and, for that matter, I’d have to say it’s the best experience I’ve ever had in buying a car at all, in my entire life. Matthew was a huge factor in that and the culture at Naples Acura is definitely a positive and pro-customer one that is extremely refreshing. When we want to buy a car we just want to buy a car. We don’t need sales people indulging in tricks and games and all the good-cop-bad-cop-stuff or bait-and-switch and all that kind of dubious behavior or for them to adopt an essentially adversarial position: we just want to buy a car. If you feel that way, then Naples Acura is going to be your kind of place and Matthew is going to be all kind of salesman. Any vehicle purchase is inherently kind of a stressful thing — we’re talking about a large purchase, by any standard — and in my case that was compounded by the stress and uncertainty intrinsic to buying not only long-distance but flying clear across the country to Florida with the intent of driving this car back, a rather serious road trip. But this is the best such buying experience I’ve ever had and Matthew and crew made the stress melt away quickly. I absolutely, wholeheartedly, and without reservation recommend both Naples Acura and certainly Matthew for anyone considering buying a new or used Acura or any of the used cars that they might have on the lot. This car should do me well for a good few years, but I am completely open (and I say this despite somewhat of a nightmare trip back to Vegas simply because I was constrained by a work-related time crunch that forced me to drive almost constantly for four days) to purchasing my next car from Naples Acura and Matthew, as well, simply because the experience could not possibly have been any better. As I said to them before I left the dealership, just as it’s really hard to find a good and honest mechanic and when you finally do you never let them go, once you find a really good car dealer I think you owe it to yourself to go back to them, because there really aren’t all that many around. Marvin Sold me a 2021 RDX with a bad odor. He said he’d have it fixed up while I signed the papers. After I signed the papers, I opened the car door and the odor was still there. He immediately took it to have it fixed up while I signed the papers. After I signed the papers, I opened the car door and the odor was still there. He immediately took it to detail shop and had lemon sprayed inside. I got home with the car and my neighbor smelled inside and said palm rats are living in it. I’m took it back the next morning. I asked for my trade in back and wanted my $10 k deposit refunded. Marvin got Joe Eisenberg the sales manager involved. Showed me 2 used cars on the lot that were not suitable. Joe then had the service Dept connect an industrial ionizer to the RDX cabin air and changed the air filter. He said “will see if this works” I told him I was flying out for 10 days and wanted my trade in returned to me and my money refunded. He said “let’s wait til you get back, if it’s not better will do it then”. I believed him and left with the RDX. When I returned on 10/4 the cabin odor was still there. I called Joe, reported it and took the RDX in the following morning. Salesman, David F showed me some used cars again none suitable. I asked for my complete deposit back but was told $4K would NOT be refunded. I contacted Acura Corporate office and the GM Ross Levy. Ross suggested I leave the RDX for Biocleansing and gave me a loaner sedan for 2 days. More
It's not often you can say you enjoyed your car buying experience! However, the service provided by Michael "Sparky" Meador from the time I walked in the door until I took delivery of my new RDX was reall experience! However, the service provided by Michael "Sparky" Meador from the time I walked in the door until I took delivery of my new RDX was really outstanding. Sparky clearly knows his product and has the ability to convey it to his customers in a efficient and non-pushy way. This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Naples Acura and sales people like Sparky are the reason why. I have never had to take my cars in for service except for routine oil changes and again the experience was seamless and fast. More
