Outstanding service from service department Matthieu Chin is an awesome service adviser. I'm saddened to learn he has moved on, but I wish him well in his new endeavors. Abysmal Experience with the Pre-Owned Sales Department In mid-September, 2016, Nalley listed a white/red, Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) 2014 BMW 640i Gran Coupe for sale on its dealership website, AutoTrader.c In mid-September, 2016, Nalley listed a white/red, Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) 2014 BMW 640i Gran Coupe for sale on its dealership website, AutoTrader.com, and BMWUSA.com. After searching for months for the year, color, and option combo I wanted in a 640i, I found the listing from Nalley for this car. I promptly called the Pre-Owned sales department and spoke with Fatimah W. Fatimah was very friendly and she verified the car was still in stock. She went as far as to send me pictures of the car from her phone as there were not yet any pictures of it online. Fatimah asked me if I wanted to come in and see/drive the car and I informed her that I lived about 200 miles away in TN and would have to check my schedule. I called Fatimah the next day and informed her that my wife and i would be driving to Atlanta the following weekend to see the car. Fatimah said she needed to check to see if the car was cleaned and prepped and that she would call me back. The next day was a Thursday, and when I didn't hear back from her, I called and learned that Thursday was her day off. When Friday came around, I called her again, only to get her voicemail. Fatimah returned my call later that day and said she was still waiting to hear back about the car and that their service department was making some last minute checks, but that is should be ready for us to see when we arrived on Saturday. Fatimah said she would call us Saturday morning. We never heard back from Fatimah on Saturday like she promised. I called Fatimah on the drive to Atlanta around noon on Saturday and she said she was hoping the car would be ready for us to see when we arrived. (That is when the red flag should have gone up in my mind, but I suppose my logical reasoning was overtaken by the idea of getting the car I truly wanted.) When I arrived at Nalley BMW that afternoon, the Pre-Owned sales manager introduced himself and told me that the car was undergoing its certified pre-owned inspection and that it was not ready to be sold. I asked the manager why the car was listed on their website (and several others) as a CPO car if it was not yet certified. I also asked why the car had been online for nine days prior if it could not be sold. The manager told me that BMW lists the car and that he had no control over it. (I suspected that story to be a bit, if not entirely fabricated, but I digressed.) He offered to let us see the car in the shop, and we obliged. The car was lowered down from the lift and my wife and I took a peek. We liked it, although we were frustrated that we could not drive it or buy it like we had been led to believe. I asked the manager to call me when the car was ready and he assured me that he would. I never again heard from the used sales manager, despite leaving him a message the next week. On Wednesday of the following week, I called the sales manager and Fatimah to inquire about the car. Neither returned my call, despite the voicemails I left. The following Friday, I called and spoke to a man named Larry. I explained the situation and asked him to check to see if the car was ready yet. Larry said he would have Fatimah call me back. I never received a return phone call. The following week, I called Nalley and spoke with the General Manager, Randy. I explained the situation, for which Randy apologized and assured me that he would look into the matter and get me an answer on the car later that day. Randy called me later and informed me that the car had an engine issue and that they were waiting for parts to come in from Germany. He promised to follow up with me on the progress. After a few more days, I called Nalley again and left a message for Fatimah to let me know if the car was ready. All the websites still showed the car for sale and by then had actual pictures of the car's exterior. Fatimah never returned my call. I received an email from Fatimah a couple days later stating that she was waiting from an answer from their technicians on the car's progress. After a couple more days, I emailed Fatimah to let her know that I would be in Atlanta the following Thursday and Friday to look at a different BMW at United BMW of Gwinnett. Fatimah replied and said the General Manager, Randy, would be in touch with me. He never called or emailed. My wife and I drove to Atlanta on Thursday morning, three weeks after initially going to Nalley to see the 640i. I called Fatimah and left a voicemail again to inquire. I also spoke again with Larry, who promised to check and call me back, but I never received a call back from anyone. My wife and I decided to give up on Nalley and purchased a car from United BMW of Gwinnett. The next day, I received a phone call from Fatimah letting me know that the 640i was finally ready. I informed her that she was a day late and that I purchased a different car from their competitor. I have never in my life tried so hard to buy a particular car. I was practically handing them a sale, but they broke promise after promise and communicated poorly, if at all. Had the communication been better, I would have waited for the car to be ready. Instead, I got an entirely different model with similar options and features. Nalley certainly needs to do some internal training on customer service and communication. I also suggest that they not list cars for sale as CPO that can neither cannot be sold for three or more weeks or are actually CPO. I hope the process is better for anyone buying a car from Nalley in the future. I certainly will not consider them in the future, nor will I recommend them to friends and family. More

I was paired with Ryan Wilensky through an internet inquiry and was very satisfied. Ryan communicated with me in the mode I preferred (mobile text) and after a few days of negotiations, we were able to lock in a final deal. The day I came to pick up my new car and turn in my trade, there were absolutely no surprises. My only advice for other customers is make your requirements very clear and direct (both the deal and financing), and Ryan will do all the rest to assure you will have a good experience. More
